Many people drop the programming career in less than 2 months into it. I was dancing around programming for almost 4 years before I decided to sit up and learn deeply.

Meanwhile programming is being applied to many disciplines as the day goes by. There's an application of programming in medical laboratory science.

But where you'll get tired and fall is when you look at programming as a quick money making venture.
