A friend was denied student visa after UK visa interview. He chose another line of study for Masters instead of his current BSc. That should not be a grounds for denial if you ask me. Apparently my friend didn’t defend it well or the visa officer just didn’t find it convincing enough. What can he do in this situation?

Why did you apply for visa? Then ask your school in the case of delayed visa. Some schools allow you start online while some don't and some will allow you start the next semester while some will allow you start the upper year. So you just need to make enquiries and not being reluctant

Thanks for ur reply. I have not applied for visa yet. I’m yet to do so. I’m just concerned about the delays involved in getting visa appointments and the rest as complained by some users on the thread.

I was seeing some saying it take 18 months for visa interview, am seeing CAT A and CAT B. I have been given admission but I’m reluctant to pay acceptance fee because I’m not sure if I will get visa appointment soon. What u guys suggest I do from here. Thank you.
