Ayo the traditional strategy game played on hand crafted game board by two people facing each other over two rows of six holes, popular in Nigeria

The game has been developed for iphones, ipads and ipod touch to make it more accessible to lovers of the game worldwide. Whilst the game is traditionally played on a board, great care has been taken to recreate the wood effect of the game and making it interactive by ensuring the game can still be played against a friend, with each player sitting on opposite sides of their ipad.  The game is further given the traditional African feel with the background music from a dance troupe.

The Ayo game comes with 3 levels of difficulty (easy, hard or expert) which is based on the various rules of the game that abound; this ensures that players are able to progress from the easy game to test their mantle against the computer or friend at the expert level. Each player places seeds in each of their six holes and takes turns in playing with the player that captures the most seeds in their home wins.
