Please I flashed the stock Kitkat on my gionee p4. I got an update alert but after downloading the update file of about 221 my. It refuses to upgrade. I kind of feel I need to be in Stock recovery to do this. Is there a way to temporarily get back stock recovery and upgrade this without losing my stock Kitkat I flashed or can I just use my cwm recovery.

no not only stock recovery

You need to re flash jellybean ROM with PC and upgrade to KitKat from within the phone then upgrade further to the one of 221mb

1. how did u get urs 2 display d clock icon on ur screen shot.

2. how did u mod ur v3 pack 2 auto rotate ur keyboard ish, dude dat s**t is wicked, I got my v3 mod 4rm XDA, pls enlighten me.

the clock is an app from playstore..minimalistic clock.... Then the keyboard flipping isn't only the app flippin...the entire ui flips....cause of the framework.res.apk tweak I did after decompiling my it

@ swisscarter, i really did enjoy your material rom v3 mod, i hav 1 problem wic i observed, my earpiece stopped working properly at 1st i assumed d earphone was bad until i swapped n still got d same ish, i previously installed dolby pack via cwm n it seems dis ur mod comes wit it, so could dey be clashing? is there any way to uninstall an installation done via cwm? i had 2 restore my phone back from my save file 4 d earpiece to work, ur input would be welcome.

Hmmm I think you have to reflash the Dolby mod after you flash the mod

Bro, u are wrong. M2 comes with default browser or else it's fake phone they sell for u. But I don't use mine everytime. browsing I use opera, downloading I use ucweb, ADM, chrome n others. u can download them on playstore, uptodown.com, or m-apkhere.com.

if you're rooted go to /system/etc delete a file called "hosts" then reboot and try again
