The only ethnic group that likes the way Nigeria is currently constituted are the Northern people. They managed to squander billions of dollars by moving the capital to the North. 80% of the people that own the country's oil wells are from the North. They are able to get away with all their crimes because the ethic groups in the south are fragmented. Why? Because deep down it has to do with the Yorubas, Muslims. The Yoruba Muslims have more in common with their Northern Muslims than with their Yoruba Christians. This creates uneasiness, and other ethnic groups will always look at the Yorubas as a group of people that can't be trusted.
