Eplug Technologies was willing to refund after verifying his claim but he refused to provide bank account for quick refund.

Kuda bank has already received the refund request.

How will you place someone on scammer list without proper information.

The person that reported him has created a whatsapp group consisting of three of us but eplug has not commented in the group. Also, the claim that account details for quick refund was requested has been debunked by the person that reported eplug. I need to get the fact as this matter is lingering.

I was told you refused to provide your bank account for refund and after several requests of the account you still refuse and optioned to only provide it via WhatsApp, and as stated in the numerous requests for your account details that failure to provide it will result in manual refund.

Your refund was applied to be made by the bank itself to the source account.

I don't know why you refused to provide your bank account number.

It would have been easy for you to get your refund within minutes than wait for days as the case is with bank manual reversal.

She used to have her business banner and picture on her profile but she has now taken it off. Her location was previously indicated as Delta, but she has changed it to PortHarcourt. Her full scamming nature is now out. She is probably viewing these posts with an alternate moniker. I am now waiting for her to block me on WhatsApp... ...

This is why we shouldn't be swayed when scammers seemingly keep in touch after pulling a scam. It is just a technique to make their victims move on.

Please, do the needful with her details because I will be sad if she scams another unsuspecting Nairalander

It is nearly a month now since this incident occurred and this scammer is yet to refund me. She asked that I give her till 9th of this month to pay up, but I even gave her till 11th on compassionate grounds. Today is 14th and she is yet to pay me my money. I had to message her repeatedly 2 days ago before she dignified me with a response that she will call me, but she never did.

It is now clear that a major technique that scammers use now is to keep in touch with you, giving you a false hope that they will refund you your money, whereas they never have intentions to.

Please add her to the list of scammers so that anyone who does a background check on her will discover that she is a scammer, while i work towards recovering my money. I have sent you messages on Whatsapp. Thanks

unfortunately, delaying payment is not one of the reasons for adding people to scammer's list. However, you have the right to request for compensation if you think he delayed your payment unnecessarily. You can use any medium where he can be forced to compensate you.

How it happened :


He received my PayPal funds and all of a sudden refused to talk no matter how many times I contacted him.

He then tried to activate dissapearing messages after 20+ days I contacted him again asking for m money. He did this so I wouldn't make screenshots of what transpired.



Immediately I threatened to come and expose him on the forum. He chatted ( first time in 20+ days just because I said I was coming here to expose him )



His response:


My ordinary $54-58 led to his account been temporarily frozen. Mind you, no screenshot, for an European PayPal account that has received thousands of dollars suddenly gets frozen because of $55. The average Nigerian is dishonest both home and abroad. Abroad life hasn't changed him.


To not appear too much of a bother, I told him to pay me the money in splits. The first part 10k a week after. The balance around 22k a week later. He agreed.


He made the first payment last week Friday. Yesterday was the second Friday. He stopped communicating since a week now.



I normally don't bring business deals to the forum. But I have been scammed by too many Nairalanders this here alone, making it difficult for me to pay my workers and even sustain my businesses.



I need my money


Add Mrpassionate to scammers list. And then ask him to pay me my money


This is another thief like FredFrankHussle that must be avoided at all costs

But did you factor in the fact that Wodu89 threatened chargebacks? You buy PayPal funds as well, and i am sure you understand the pains of chargebacks. Most times, PayPal ends up ruling in favour of the sender/seller and you, as the buyer, lose the funds and PayPal even debits your account for resolution fees.

Attached is the screenshot (as posted here on Nairaland) where he made the threat and this should be about the 6th time it is being brought up, but Wodu89 hasn't addressed it.

I have not. We have reached agreement that they'll be paid immediately the funds are unfrozen since the principal sum for that exercise was what got frozen and the alternative funds I could have used was what this guy destroyed.


When he sent whatever he sent. I told you I didn't use it. His actions led to my sack and until last week I haven't earned a penny in months.


The last person in this agreement is Umar. Other persons agreed because we didn't work short time. We all worked long and I had paid some up to 80k each during our periods of regular work flow


The only money I have I have been using to pay dents caused from the damage. I.e people who supplied me chicken feeds on credit.


Also me why also. Why I was running around doing this. And left my workers to handle that. The guy who eventually bought the chicken used the abbatoir as his office. And also scammed. Guess what. Hes also a member of the forum. The moniker is olatunde1122


So, with multiple person's chasing after my businesses and life. Where do I have spare money? Especially when this scumbag attacked my primary source of income

I don't have issue with it if your agreed to be considerate with you. Try pay them as soon as the fund is out sha.

He witheld my money by 8-10 weeks. That action led to the collapse of my business. He did that on purpose after he said he would teach me a lesson. Having caused me great harm, he must pay for the damages done. He seized my money because I told him he shortpayed me for the transactions before the last which till today he didn't pay. He felt challenged because I told him he shortpayed me. That was what triggered him witholding my money. The witholding of my money led to the collapse of my businesses


Given all this. Who is financially responsible for the collapse of my business. Be honest?

1. you have the right to ask for compensation for the delay of your fund. Unfortunately, I don't think that equate scamming (unless if I'm wrong, someone should correct me pls), which may not warrant us adding him to the scammer's list.

2. if he short-paid you as you claimed, kindly provide the evidence and we will ask him to pay up or he will be listed as a scammer
