A schoolgirl narrowly escaped being killed by one of the iron rods in an abandoned gutter, while returning from school, yesterday, in Sapele, Delta State.

According to Sapele Oghenek, the girl, identified as Progress, fell while trying to cross the gutter and was impaled very close to her private part. The victim was later rushed to a hospital where she is said to be recovering rod from abandoned gutter injures schoolgirl in her private part
