hopefulLandlord: Christians should be very watchful of their utterances against Pastor Desmond Eke as what he did might've been commanded by Yahweh as he works in mysterious ways and his wisdom, as our perfect Holy Bible said, looks like foolishness unto man.
Yahweh once told the Israelites to kill all Midianites but keep young virgin girls as war booty. This sounds wrong to us but whatever Yahweh commands is wise even if it looks wrong in our limited knowledge he has his reasons
Yahweh figuratively destroyed Saul for not totally destroying the Amalekites
Yahweh once told Ezekiel to eat bread baked with human shiit
Same way Yahweh sent lying spirits to Ahab's prophets. This also sounds wrong to us but he has his reasons we aren't privy to and he answers to no one
Yahweh also hardened Pharaoh's heart while using that as opportunity to send more plagues and kill innocent people until all firstborn sons of the Egyptians are dead. This also sounds cruel but that's Yahweh showing us his loving power and nobody should question him
Yahweh struck Onan dead for refusing to cum into his brother's wife's
Yahweh's ways are not our ways. its possible Yahweh instructed Pastor Desmond Eke to rape another man's wife in order to deliver her of the marine spirit that was disturbing her. Yahweh might have his reasons so we should not use our limited knowledge to judge what a man talking to a being of unlimited knowledge does. Beware not to bring a curse upon your lives and future generations by attacking a true man of Yahweh I pity the day a negative breeze will just blow you |

As for waving a different flag during protests, it is not a crime. They should go after the supposed sponsors, not the poor people if they feel there are ulterior motives behind the waving of the flags. You are very correct at the bolded. There are unpatriotic elements that are manipulating people who were waving the flags because majority of them are stark illiterate |

gaby: I can't believe someone would comment "good initiative" to this considering the economic mishap the country and citizens are currently embroiled in.
Imagine having to pay #2,500 per charge that'd last a day multiplied by 20 days.
I'm just so short of words to describe the kind of humans we have in every elective and appointed offices in this British company.
*** Always trying to take a sprint before properly learning to crawl when it comes to exploitative policies but when it is policies to alleviate the pains of the citizens, they become dumb.
In the climes promoting EVs and green energies, the citizens are continously encouraged by way of tax cuts to embrace alternative energies and charging stations are strategically situated all around and for the most part for free or at most at hugely discounted rates. You want government to charge the battery free of charge? The saner climes you guys always referred to, Is the price cheaper in that place compared to this 2500? Do you think people that formulate police are novices who don't considered the masses in formulating policies like this? |
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Enemies Behind Igbo Must Go Campaign – Obidigbo by Tackle247: 12:56pm On Aug 05, 2024 |
lailo: This victim mentality is generic in every Igbo. Let me tell u for a fact, every Yoruba don't give a fvck about religion. We marry ourselves, Muslims, Christians and traditional. Fasola, Saraki, Adeleke etc all have Christians wives. We equally marry from any tribe. Majority of our leaders are married to non-yorubas and it has nothing to do with politics e.g Obasanjo, Akeredolu, the Adelekes, Subomi Balogun, Ooni of Ife, MKO Abiola, Oba olowu of owu a and so many of our other traditional and political leaders. How many Igbo leaders both political and traditional have Yoruba wives? The whole of the mosques in the whole of Igbo lands are not equal to the number of mosque in a local government in only Ogun state. The whole of yorubas in the entire Igbo land is not up to the number of igbos living in only one local government in Ogun state, let alone Lagos state where they have high concentration. Igbos are in our universities and other tertiary institutions here in state own institutions lecturing, even rising to HOD, Dean, Provosts. Same with secondary schools own by states. How many yorubas are in igbos institutions own by states either academic or others? Even in the last election that you people will always reference, Yorubas didn't give 100% support to their son. We had divided interest. Tinuba faced more opposition in his region than any other candidates. Afenifere(a yoruba interest group just like Ohaneze) and hosts of other Yoruba leaders were vocal opppsitons against Tinubu. They even openly picked the Igbo candidate Obi against their own son. Ohaneze would curse any igbo that shows support to any other candidate but Obi. Obi went ahead to win a state in Yoruba land and have sizeable votes in other Yoruba states but Tinubu lost woefully in all Igbo states. Igbos only voted for their son recording over 90% of their votes. Now tell me, who is more of ethnic bigotry and religion intolerant among this ethnic groups from all these recent events ? Speak the truth dumbass You are not far from the truth. The bottom-line is Yorubas are too liberal, and that liberality is already backfiring because of politics |

aestake: Excuses. But if you see where we dey make mouth. Na so nau. I remember in those days when I used to play table tennis, I always think I'm better than those who goes to stadium for training until I met one small boy that taught me a bitter lesson winning me 10 times in arrow with heavy financial loss. I never knew that the boy was a junior champion. Today, I saw a 17-year-old French boy winning a bronze medal in table tennis and I wonder our players who represented Nigeria has been doing so in the last 6 Olympics and have never gotten to medal level. The conclusion is talents are never nurtured to world level in Nigeria because of so many administrative lapses such as nepotism ang corruption |

Nigeria should be coming home with at least 45 gold medals in any olympic game if we had good leaders. 45 gold small, you should just round it up to 100 How many sporting events is Nigerian participating in to come home with 45 gold medals. |

Majority could afford to eat three square meals at the time. Even the poorest of the poor ate to their satisfaction.
Tai Solarin was running a hostel with 2300 kids. Any increase in prices mid session would affect his ability to cater for the children hence the letter.
This is the proper context. Were you around that time? The children in that letter were private secondary school as at that time. Mind you, majority of them are from well to do home and the economy is biting on majority then |

EyeCumInPiss: Let's do small arithmetic:
Bag of Brown Beans in 1983 =₦200 Bag of Brown Beans in 2024 =₦100,000
So Bag of Brown Beans increased 500times in 41years
So if we continue like this, in next 41years (year 2065), price of Bag of Brown Beans will be: 500×₦100,000 =₦50m This shows Nigeria is always hard from time immemorial and the future is always in geometric rise in prices |

Tribalism would never allow Nigeria to progress to this level. Anyone that is crying tribalism in Nigeria is a tribalist too. When you embrace your own and you want others to detest their own and they refused you labelled them tribalist. The major problem of Nigerian sports is corruption. If you look at National Sports Festival, majority of those representing Lagos are non-indigenes |
