I am sad because I helped sponsor Ikechukwu u university education.
I am sad because after Ikechukwu fought while doing his housemanship at Remo Eye Clinic in Ijebu Remo, I was sent by our mother to go with him to Ikeja head office of Remo Eye Clinic to plead with to take him back after he has beaten an associate to a pulp. I was asked by the senior doctor and owner of the establishment to seek medical help for my brother because of his anger. Call over to that clinic to verify this.
I am sad because for more than six months before our brother 's death my elder brother did not want to pick up my calls for help for Ikechukwu because he he doesn't want to confront the issue head on.

My intention to respond to all these allegations is because my brother Chinedu who is culpable and one of the abuser here is notorious in lying to my family about what is really going on because he is benefiting from the disharmony in the family and probably happy Ikechukwu is no longer here to fight with him over rent money.
The rest of us are overseas and would careless for the rent money.
Chinedu is so happy now to rent out Obiageri's store because he is so envious of her and how she had manged to make something out of nothing despite blocking the entrance to Obiageri's store in front of the family house with a big bus for more than a year and making sure nobody patronized her. Who does a hateful thing like that especially knowing your nieces and nephew has to feed from there.

I am sad because Obiageri is in custody when she would not have spent a day in there if all the abuses were brought to bear by the investigating agency and the fact that they were called to the house on numerous occasiona but never affected any arrest except to have my brother write an undertaken to stop beating Obiageri.
I am sad because I am nursing a the neckline and shoulder blade injury inflicted on me by my deceased brother because I was not going to stand bye and have him beat Obiageri when she was nine months pregnant with our last child. She gave birth few days later. Who does that? Lift your hand to beat a woman full with pregnancy all because she was using the bathroom and you have to be at work and needed to use the bathroom . Violence never solves any problems.

I am sad because on the fateful day Ikechukwu was not the only person beating Obiageri. Ikechukwu and his brother in law, Nnamdi were beating Obiageri to the urging of his wife who felt Obiageri should be taught a lesson because she should not have had her generator on and going to sleep.
I am sad because the reason Obiageri was beaten to a pulp on that sad day was very unwarranted considering the house was not affected by the fire to the generator wire.
I am sad because if the generator wiring was not sabotaged the fire wouldn't have happened considering that my siblings Chinedu and Ikechukwu made sure Obiageri was without electricity for more that six months.

I am sad because I knew Obiageri was not safe in that house with my siblings Chinedu and Ikechukwu and I pleaded with them to desist from beating her and exposing her naked in public. Which right thinking person does that.
I am sad because the court of public opinion is already condemned her without knowing the truth of the matter.
I am sad because I had reached out to my elder brother to intervain in these abuses but he chose to ignore the problems and now Ikechukwu is dead.
I am sad because I am sitting here trying to make some sense of this situation when we had ample opportunities to assist my brother in getting him help. My several calls to my elder brother fell on deaf ears.

I am sad because I wish I was able to get Obiageri out of there soon enough before this tragedy.
Obiageri has logged several reports at the Tolu Police precinct and Ikechukwu had signed an undertaken not to beat Obiageri again and Ikechukwu had at every opportunity in these abuses always stripped Obiageri naked in public.
My youngest brother anger and urge to resort to violence in settling whatever issue he has is very well known and it is even shameful considering his education.
I do not want to get into this public discussion but my silence is not good either considering she stayed in this house because of me.

I am very sad and having a hard time reading all these comments and the report by Cyriakus Izuekwe. I don't know where to start but I will be brief and to the point.
I am sad for two things, my brother is dead and the mother of my children is in jail.
1. Obiageri is a loving mother of three adorable children and not the evil this publication is making her out to be.
2. Obiageri is the victim here because of the abuses culmulating to the death of my brother.
3. Obiageri is lucky to be alive today if a good bystander had not freed Obiageri from the chuck hold my deceased brother had on Obiageri neck.
4. I am not the first son of my father and the impression that I nor Obiageri wanted Ikechukwu out of the family hou false. The truth is Obiageri wanted out of the family house.
