My question is people especially the southerners blame buhari for implementing TSA is now affecting our financial institution, leading us to where we are now....Now MMM according to you is sole aimed at crumbling the financial institutions further...who lose at the end of the day....NIGERIANS....MMM initiators won't be affected...But when our Economy totally crashes nobody will be there to help us....Then we will leave recession to depression...God help Nigeria

Dude, nobody is goin to lose and the banks will still continue to exist, the only thing is banking will now be done the way it should be done. Loans would now be giving to small scale entrepreneurs. Shikenna!!!

by the time it folds up, some will loose so much that suicide will be the obvious way out

Ignorance is a disease, do you know that you can't use more than 3.2 million on MMM? Do you think people can lose as much as people lost when the shares crashed? I know people who took bank loan to buy shares then and were later been chased around by the banks. Pls lets face the reality, you people('Cos I know you must be a banker) had prey on our gullibility for long, living large on people's money and giving then peanuts, anyways people are wiser now.

Lol. U people are very ignorant. Read what happened in China, South Africa and Russia.

MMM is Still active is SA,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItxGNpNeEW0&feature=youtu.be MMM keeps blocking all the loopholes whenever they surfaced such making it stronger by the day.

Maybe you still have a job now , by the time you loose that job, you'd join MMM with speed. You need to check out the numbers of people loosing their jobs on a daily basis. Even if you work in a bank, you job is not secure.

Asides that if Government decide to shut the whole thing down. Nothing can happen. People will only looose money. Trust me, that will soon happen. They only used SEC to sound warning first so it won't look like people were not warned

Government cant shut it down, cos the server is not in Nigeria and there is no legal bodies or centralised account, so there is nothing that can be shut down, moreso, I'm sure our President is a man of the people, and i'm very positive he wont hurt his people to please the corrupt rich.

He listen to the people and i'm very sure he can get the sincere opinions of the people on this link: http://punchng.com/online-fraudsters-hit-capital-market-sec-warns/ not from paid canvassers on this platform. He is fully aware that the economy is in recession and there is hunger out there, he won't take away the only thing that is giving people hope and putting food on their tables cos of some greedy few who want to sustain their expensive lifestyles.

We have Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers and other brilliant professionals who are way more brilliant than any of the riff-raffs on this thread, and they think they are all fools? all of you are just tools, people with low risk appetite and people who are scared of new things.

Long Live Nigeria, Long Live Our President, Long live MMM

I saw the current MMM advertised by a friend sometime back and I quickly waved it off as a scam as with the HYIP and other ponzi schemes.

https://www.nairaland.com/3321916/sec-warns-nigerians-dangers-mmm

Given this topic that was on the front page today, I saw some comments by people and it was noted that ''There is no pool of money with the current MMM and therefore they can't run away''.

Given the nature of their business, with no investments and the fact that they have put in resources in place to allow for this trade to happen, it is pertinent that one day or another, they will close down, and they won't go through that stress without duping people of their money. Seeing the topic today, I had to register and checkout how the model works , and also brainstorm on the eventual way the MMM operators will dupe those that are in the system.

I am giving a scenario here and though it may not play out the same way, there should be no denying the fact that one day - which i wll term as ''the day of reckoning''. the MMM site will shut operations and will try to make as much as possible from your funds before that.

Now here is the scenario. As there is no pool as someone rightly said, I registered and saw the mode of operation. It is worthy of note that the same MMM site runs in several countries:-

Nigeria
South Africa
India
Colombia
Turkey

So from my postulation, the fold-up will happen in a month - The month of reckoning-- across all MMM sites on that month because anything short of that will send panic to other countries and they won't maximize.

The scenario i see playing out is that the handlers will have bank accounts or agents in all countries of operations and in the month of reckoning, as there is no pool of money, all the ''get help'' requests will be paused - Not paused perse, but no ''get help'' request will go through and will be pending as they won't publish it.

Now the ''Provide help'' will be allowed to work, but the account shown will be that of the handlers of the site (or their agents) and people will keep providing help, but it goes to the scam account. Now this will go on for a month as you have to wait for a month to use your Mavro. The first people that will notice the scam will be the ''Get help'' People as they will keep waiting, but no help will come. Then ''Provide help'' people will come to know after a while and they MMM people will release a statement saying the ''business model experiment failed and they are shutting down''

Be wise Nigerians....

Alternative views and constructive arguments are welcome

Ignorance. We have forums of participants on Whatsapp and BBM which comprises of people that had given help and those still waiting to give help, where people discuss challenges on a daily bases, if that should happen, I bet, 3 days is too much for people's attention to be drown to it.

This Platform is well organised, all you guys need to know is how it works.

Damn its like I've just been in a cult meeting reading through this thread from the first page and constantly seeing the words "financial slavery" bandied everywhere, i mean even after folks posted stuff about the owner and how the programme has shut down in China and South Africa(with verifiable links), there's is still a very strong gravitation towards supporting the scheme with people using the same exact sentences like they've been programmed that way

p.s

No one has still made a very clear and concise explanation as to why anyone should join this MMM stuff

Cool bro, I like your position. Keep waiting for reasons to join, while people's lives are getting changed. Go and check the politics behind it been shut down in those countries, those government are basicly anti people. And mind you, MMM only had a pause in South Africa, now its working now.

Could it be worse than what happened to shares? And why din't they warned us when the shares tsunami was coming? And as for you, by the time you realise you brother is on the right path, he'd have gone far in life.

Go and read people' comment on this link: http://punchng.com/online-fraudsters-hit-capital-market-sec-warns/

I know lots of Engineers, Doctors, Bankers and other brilliant professionals on MMM. We couldn't all be dumb as not to see all what you guys are pointing out.

MMM stated it's risk, we accepted, none on the platform is below 18, we are all risk takers, peradventure anything happen ( which wont anyways) we'd count our loss and move on.

There was a time people were taking bank loans to buy shares, cos it was lucrative, we had all the assurance, but what happened afterwards, I know quite a lot of people who died of stroke, some committed suicide and lots rand into bank debt. So do you think MMM could be worse than what happened to shares?

Those of you writing rubbish, the amount you guys were been paid cannot change you lives, but MMM can. if you want to complete you job, got drop your opinion on this link: http://punchng.com/online-fraudsters-hit-capital-market-sec-warns/

MMM IS NOT A SCAM!

Its unfortunate how the system has brainwashed the people into believing they must work so hard and earn little. A lot of people are scared 'cos this new system is alien to them, all we've ever known is the wicked and selfish monetary system drawn by the rulling class and we've gotten used to it over the years. The morons writing rubbish about MMM on this thread are the stupid ones in the financial institutions (They are on this forum), the fable hearted and obviously people who are been paid to do so. For God sake, all these guys have been benefiting from our ignorance living large, wearing the best of suit and live in choice areas and you think they'd fold their hands and watch all these largess taken away?

I work in the advertising industry and I know how much they'd have spent on this campaign, and I asked me, when do they care so much about us to the extent of spending so much money on sensitising us?

What is their challenge? the funds are still laying there in the banks, when I help someone and transfer money to the person, the bank charges me, the government takesout their stamp duty, so what is the problem? oh! my 30% reward? come on, we are no threat to you guys, MMM is not for the super rich who are your real customers, all the bank does is collate all our funds and give to these guys, they wont give ordinary person like me loan on a good day.

I know a lot of people who are out of job as a result of this hash economy, but they are still able to put food on their table, pay their children's school fees and meet other obligations because of MMM, thousands of families who are suppose to be displaced now have hope and you guys want to take away their only source of hope, I will implore you guys to think about it very well, COS YOU ARE SITTING ON A TIME BOMB, cos the last thing you want to do is to trigger the anger of the already angry Nigerians.

If MMM is a scam, you guys dont need to spend money sensitising the public, a single hashtag would sort it, that is power of social media.

MMM IS REAL AND IS CHANGING LIVS.
