That final would be crazy!!!!!! But except something happens in the heavens, I think Argentina would find a way to win it. Did anyone notice Messi looking up to the skies, as if say, God abeg b4 their equalizer?
Spain will win! If Spain can dismantle France with all their experienced players... I don't think Argentina can stop them! But then FOOTBALL is CRAZY!!!

Our main business with osihmen is the national team as we need him healthy and fit for as long as he continues to play for the national team. I’ve never been too bothered with whatever club he plays for (that’s his personal career). Yekini never played for any big club but his legacy remains golden and when osihmen finally breaks that record he cements his own legacy that will take another player donkey years to attain. My prayer for him is he’s blessed with long life to continue to reap from his all labour as a player which makes me sad for a person like Yekini. Osihmen in his post playing years will be a greater and more celebrated personality and that’s what is scaring lots of his detractors! Just three more goals and he becomes an everlasting legend that will dwarf most of our ex players and they know it.
And at the bolded.... he can easily achieve this during the game against Jamaica next month and world cup proper in June!

Bad belle set of people!

To our dear Nigerian football family 💚🤍💚
We feel the pain, the silence, and the heavy hearts that came with yesterday’s loss to Morocco. It hurts because we believed, because we hoped, and because this team has given us reasons to dream again. Losing is never easy, especially when the love for the Super Eagles runs so deep in our veins.
But let us remember this: one match does not erase the pride, passion, and progress we have seen. Our boys fought with courage, carried the flag with honor, and reminded Africa and the world that Nigeria remains a force in football. Sometimes the journey teaches lessons that victories cannot, and from these moments, stronger teams are built.
To every fan who stayed up late, prayed, shouted, and believed — your love is not wasted. This setback is not the end of our story. Brighter days will come, and when they do, the joy will be even sweeter because of moments like this.
Heads up, hearts strong.
We rise, we rebuild, and we move forward together.
Nigeria will shine again 🇳🇬🇳🇬

3-1 in favour of Nigeria

I noticed something important in the Nigeria vs Algeria match that goes beyond football.

From kickoff to the final whistle of the Super Eagles vs Algeria game, no player blamed another. Even when Akor Adams missed that clear chance, nobody reacted negatively.

If you watched the Nigeria vs Algeria live match, you would notice how calm Eric Chelle, the Nigeria coach, was throughout the game. Mostly on his feet, focused, composed.

The team followed instructions till the end. That kind of discipline does not happen by luck. It is preparation, emotional control, and leadership.

Chelle took the usual Nigerian passion and hot temper and turned it into organised high press football.

What we saw in that Algeria vs Nigeria match was not just tactics, it was emotional intelligence in action.

Another quiet moment stood when Victor Osimhen dropped the captain band when he thought he was being substituted, only to realise he was still in play. No ego. Just humility and discipline in the Super Eagles jersey.

This again proves something I often say.
When boys and young men are properly guided, they can reach great heights.

Talent is important. Skills matter.
But character, mental discipline, and emotional regulation are what make things work better.

As we look forward to Nigeria vs Morocco, I hope the Super Eagles maintain this level of decorum, discipline, and determination.

Kudos to Eric Chelle and the Nigeria national football team.

Still, like many people checking Nigeria match today and Nigeria live score, I can’t help but wonder, with this level of maturity, why didn’t Nigeria qualify for the World Cup? 😔

And if emotional discipline can change a football team like this, imagine what it could change in our homes and society.

And we say make our man no vex for pitch 😂 that game yesterday was an opportunity to equal that record. It had 6 or 7-0 written all over it. It can’t get easier than that
Osimhen should also work on his offside traps... He has lost 3 goals to offside in this competition... By now he's supposed to be leading scorer.... And almost catching up with Yekini's record

Osimhen FINALLY addressed yesterday’s Behavior.

“ When we did not Qualify for the World Cup , everyone called just me out . They forgot about other players . That’s when I understood the weight is on me . Yes we scored 3 Goals already but in football 5 goals can be scored in 3 mins that’s why we did not have to relax . The whole country is counting on us and if we fail ,they’ll drag us everywhere especially me . I love Lookman , he is my brother and he understands that was just football . Everyone wants Nigeria to win the AFCON and it doesn’t come easy . We must do our best “

♦️ Gernot Rohr🇧🇯 believes DR Congo cheated and hence Nigeria will go the world cup ahead of the leopards.

"This is a straightforward case if you ask me because you have to first and foremost be a bonafide citizen of a country before you are eligible to play for a country according to FIFA. It’s clear that you must meet all the national laws for that to happen”, he told OwnGoalNG in an exclusive chat.

"I remember when we had Kingsley Ehizubue and Tobias Lawal with the Super Eagles. Ehizubue based on his citizen status in the Netherlands isn’t eligible to get another nationality. So that was how he was not able to play for us after getting an invitation.

"Then there is Lawal, we drafted him in to join us for a friendly game. While with us he wanted to get a Nigerian passport and was told that Austrian laws doesn’t permit dual nationality. We lost out on a promising goalkeeper due to it and he is now a full fledged international for Austria. So rules are rules." ---Gernot Rohr 🇧🇯🇧🇯

Super Eagles 28-man squad for AFCON 2025.

Personally, 24-25 is ok really.
William Troost Ekong lost his place and retired.
Ola Aina and Benjamin Fredricks, injured.
Tolu Arokodare and Christantus Uche, more work to do.
Maduka Okoye didn't want to warm bench. Understandable.
Alhassan Yusuf, good riddance.
Francis Uzoho, Cyril Dessers, Paul Onuachu make a comeback.
Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Ryan Alebiosu, Muhammed Usman, Tochukwu Nnadi, Salim Fargo. New faces.

🇳🇬 Good luck to the team as always!

P/S: Eric Chelle most likely submitted 25 names. Muhammed Usman, Tochukwu Nnadi, Salim Fargo are definitely NFF additions. With Muhammed Usman at 31 obviously a Federal Character pick.
The bolded is really a minus for the team especially BENJAMIN.... Very painful!!!

I also saw them vs Paraguay and USA. They drew and lost. Insanely is a stretch. Spain is insanely good. France is insanely good. Same as Argentina (Champions). These are genuine world cup contenders. Can we say same of Japan?

Yes, they beat Brazil but we all know they are still adjusting under Carlo Ancelotti and today vs Senegal (that disgraced England in June) we will see just how far Brazil have come under Carlo.
