People travel or relocate to another country for many reasons, one of them is social amenities, peace and tranquility, family, friends or relatives pressure or seeking greener pasture. I can't speak for everyone because our purpose for traveling to Abidjan is not homogeneous, but l know it's a lovely city to live and work, you will never regret living in Abidjan especially if you go with some cash and have great business ideas.

I can suggest three businesses that l know will thrive in few months of commencement by God's grace. Firstly, it's the establishment of a bakery, there are more than 2 million documented Nigerians in Cote'divoire according to our Ambassador Mrs Ifeoma Akabogu. l had a chat with her last time l visited our Embassy in Plateau l must tell you our Ambassador is one of the friendliest Ambassadors you will ever meet. She is welcoming, decent and highly up to the tasks, but visiting her is strictly by invitation. Abidjan has the highest percentage of Nigerians living in the country, and only few Nigerian bakeries exist in the country according to my research, demand is grossly higher than supply. If you can team up with business minded people like you, you can come up with a decent Nigerian bakery in Abidjan except you have huge capital to start the bakery yourself as a one man business but you know it will requires some cash to start a decent one.


Secondly, starting a transport business is a nice idea too especially journeying from Abidjan to Lagos with a magnificent bus that will have WIFI and possibly a toilet, l remembered l once boarded one young shall grow bus to Lome sometime ago, the bus had a toilet though its small like that of a train, but it's highly manageable. I know Lots of people will patronize you because aside from young shall grow which is quite decent, they are extremely small decent transport companies that journey from Abidjan to Lagos.


Thirdly is starting a magnificent Bilingual school that teaches English and French with Nigerian curriculum, just try to stand out from others have nice building and professional teachers you will make your money in no time, though you might experience some challenges from your competitors or bad wishers but with God's grace and following the right channels you will excel l know top Nigerians in Abidjan in person some are even in their government let me know when you are ready to start l can help you more by God's grace.
