Nothing extreme, really. They asked for CAS, my admission letter and my scholarship award letter after they asked if I've paid fees. Asked some other questions about what I studied back home, what I'm going to study and where. Simple process, honestly.

Hello. I have full finding offer too, but my first payment is in November while my course starts in September. Is the situation similar for you? I am unsure if I have to include a POF for my spending for the one month I have to wait to receive my funding. I sent a dm in case you prefer to answer privately.

It was a fully funded university scholarship.
So I didn't have to show proof of funds. I just provided the other necessary documents.

Hello Pipelolaluwa. Congratulations! I recently got into a fully funded program too but have not applied for a visa. I have heard some confusing guidance on what I'm supposed to do with POF (because I thought I had to present none) during my visa application. Would you be available for a chat? I've sent a DM.

Only home students can claim bursary as it is government funded.
International students who require a VISA to study can only fight for scholarships in part tuition fee reduction.

International students can get a bursary only in physics and foreign languages, at least for courses starting in 2025. The rules may change for next year.

That's an IELTS online test right? I don't have to spend time preparing, I have a valid IELTS General result with Band 8.
My issue with the online is I am not fast in typing. How do I go about the writing part that requires serious writing?

Honestly I can't say much here because you don't have a choice about the online thing; paper tests have been cancelled in Nigeria as far as I know. However most of my time went into planning and structuring my writing during the electronic test. I don't think you really need to be able to type that that fast.

Hello everyone, I received 2 conditional offers from 2 Universities but the school fees on it didn't include the international student discount. At what point do they add the discount?
Teeside is asking for IELTS as the first condition for their offer. Is it possible to meet this condition and still apply for visa on time for a course that starts in September ?

If you don't have to spend time preparing, you can book an IELTS test for tomorrow and get results within 48 hours.

Hello guys. I just got a PGCE admission from a university in the UK. I graduated in November 2023 and do not have my NYSC certificate and was not officially employed anywhere since that time. I see people stating how they included their NYSC certificates and work reference letters in their visa application and it makes me worried already. Will this be a problem for me? I checked the official document and did not see them request for NYSC and the workplace letter - do these make the application stronger?

I’m applying for a PGCE Physics in the UK and I want to know if anyone here has been accepted onto the course and received the bursary that comes with it with a Nigerian bachelor’s degree. Was your degree accepted for the bursary without issues? What uni was this, please?


2.If you’ve received a bursary offer or know someone who has, please, was the bursary confirmation letter accepted as your proof of funds for the student visa? Or did you still need to show extra bank statements?
