Taofaj4u: You people should take it easy. What will be yours will be and what is not destined for you will never be yours. let us all rely on God only and not human being. vantage7: NLNG una see una life? Now I'm being offered an opportunity to attend a prestigious and world renowned institution (as far as my field is concerned) and I'm still dreaming of NLNG and waiting on them to tell me my fate. If I knew for sure, I would pass on this opportunity. But since I don't, obviously I can't not pursue this with all diligence in case I don't make it. I know the verdict is almost out according to the oracles but I don't think it will be out in time for me to make my decision simple and straightforward. By anything a week into June I imagine I won't be able to back out of this opportunity without implications which I would really like to avoid. The same June we're waiting for (unless NLNG calls very early June or even earlier). So you see the "move on with your life and answer whenever NLNG calls" advice won't work so well here. Some would say this is a good kind of dilemma to be in. But it is still a dilemma.
NLNG #makawhy? Please friend, dont allow this oppotunity to pass by without grasping it. If this oppotunity is about further study and you are eventually invited by NLNG you can liase with the NLNG Management to allow you complete your studies before resuming. I know someone who was in this kind of situation but was given the opportunity to resume after his studies. I wish you all the best. |

Anyways, I am not currently on the island. My containers that were inbound had some issues with customs in PH and I need to get to PH to sort out the issues.
Perhaps next week when I return?
Stay safe. I am currently a contract staff and part of GT hopefuls. I will like to meet you but not to blow your cover. I hope you will be willing to at least uncover yourself for me. |

dane15: I even remember you on the 8th of March. You were in front of me as we were doing accreditation as some boys were arguing politics. I was happy to see you at the AC but we didn't fall into the same group.
You are the only one I have been able to identify from the AC on this thread.
I enjoyed the level of intellectual discussion on my table before we went for the group interview.
Peeps on the table were badt gan. One guy with glasses just blasted Oando interviews and did his medicals the day before the AC.
One guy was an Engineer at Seplat, a well built PwC lady (no insults meant), one guy at NAPIMS or NNPC a pipeline engineer and one other Engineer with Saipem.
Please, I would love to connect with any of you through impactintermediaries@gmail.com.
Thanks Wow, this is interesting. I sent you a mail few seconds ago. |

naastyme: Hello NLNG 2013 Hopefuls,
How about we try to get a fair idea of the number of applicants LEFT in the process? We can start by having a rough estimate of the number of active nairalanders and then extrapolate to account for non-active nairalanders as well as those not on nairaland.
"Liking" this post would be a good way to add up the number while providing the advantage of being anonymous
Additionally, this would keep us busy and take our minds off the wait for a while 71 likes |

What will be yours will be. the first man to carve out that saying should be flooged mercilessly..
What things end up to be isn't necessarily what they were meant to be... Our individual choices carve out what the final shape becomes in future.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe in fate and destiny but i also believe we are only fated to do the things we would have chosen anyway... Take it easy!!!!!!!!!!! |

dway4ward: I don't think that guy is in the recruitment process. Bringing God into minute affairs of man, when God has given you capacity to reason is utterly weak, and has ruined one of the most godly nations, your very own naija. Do what is right and don't bring God into issues. How can you leave God out of this. When He is the beginning and the end; He knows everything and whosoever rely on him will never fail. Dont missunderstand my statement, I am not arguing that God has not given us reasoning capacity but He is still the one that crowns effort. |
