Can this country really change?

Most of us were complaining about the process been hijacked by politician, and in the end those that were so much patience prior to this time are now going about looking for Senator, Governor, etc to help them.

Somebody should tell me how the process can be changed when we are all a victim in one way or the other. If you eventually get the job through connection, how can you effect a change (impossible), since you have decided to follow the same route. by the time you get to that level where you can make the decision you won't be able to do anything to effect the necessary change since someone help you get there, you have to pay back and the same issues that we are complaining about will still continue to repeat itself.

I want to call on those that make it purely through merit and the stakeholder candidate with conscience to think and rethink on the way forward in order to ensure due process is followed in this country.

We want change but to see the desired change, we must change our ways individually. until this is done, we will never see any change.

what baffles me the most is that all these wururu, nepotism and partiality are going on under the watch of Mr. president. Initially, we thought the commoners will be accorded equal rights and opportunities looking at how the masses supported him against the elites but this man has gone there only to forget us. It has been so before but it only got worsen under this administration as it shows no interest in recruiting sons and daughters of nobody to high profile organization.

What brought in the President in this matter. Is it the president that will recruit for DPR?

Some commoners have testified on this platform already and more are still going to testified. Please try to manage your frustration well.

I think somehow we can now give kudos to Mr. Tata with testimonies flowing in since morning. Although I am yet to receive a call but I still rely on Almighty God. even if I don't get called in the end, All praise due to the Almighty God as he knows what is best for me and will definitely grant it to me (This is my believe).

Finally, for those that will not receive, DPR is not the end as God has a better plan for each and everyone and remember it is not possible for DPR to employ everybody.

I still maintain that we should wait till after next week Friday. This is a faceless forum and we don't know how many testimonies here are true and how many that are not people are coming here to inform us how they've gotten their letters and how their relatives also have gotten, anyway, this is Nigeria where anything is possible but let's not act like the proverbial tortoise that was put in a pit for years only to start shouting barely days to his rescue. Patience remains a virtue and if we've stayed this long without this job, I think a week longer won't hurt and won't also delay our protest.

But message in the attachment was actually exchange between me and representative from the DPR Public affairs (check out this number on DPR site: 08113952154) and I am sure that whoever replied the message would not want to miss-represent hid company (DPR). and beside the portal is still open till now and am sure they will not leave it open forever. Lets all just be patient until the end. Wish everyone all the best.

I just called the pubic affairs unit to make enquiries about the recruitment. guess what, the man that picked the call told me that there is no info on the recruitment yet.

Please what is going on (those that have insiders should help with info as at this morning). can we really know the actual status and I hope they will contact everyone either successful or otherwise.

If you read properly you would see that the amount spent was not even up to the 32b in the end. This is budget it is not actual money spent at the end of the year.

Which kind of oil and gas company is that? It is better for you to do thorough investigation of that company before accepting such offer. A good company will never ask you to pay for training, that must be a scam. Be carefull.

Recruitment can take even longer depending on number of factors. The NLNG GT Recruitment that started in 2013 was just concluded in September 2017. It took approximately four years , what do you have to say about that. This DPR is even faster.

Yes of course. they are three, only two of them ask questions; one technical the other general. The third panelist only verified my age.
