That's exactly what I think. A case of two scammers with one outplaying the other.

If that wasn't the case, the boy won't be playing up the story by claiming that he will be killed if he goes back home.

The boy was about to get dumped and forgotten about when the kidney didn't match and he acted first. I don't blame for him for that anyway. 1.2M for kidney is just terrible.

And there is nothing wrong in agreeing to donate a kidney in expectation of support.

Yes, paying for kidney is illegal but the difference between paying for it and supporting the donor is in semantics.

I can give the donor a house, car, money etc afterwards and call it support and not payment.

People can do anything for money provided it's consensual.

After he realised that he didn't match the girl and would be dumped back in Nigeria with zero cash in his pocket, he ran to the police station to claim victim.

I can't really say that the wicked politician didn't deserve it but na this is a case of two scammers jamming each other.
