My attention has been drawn to the uncharacteristics behaviour of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Wike, against Senator John Azuta Mbata, Ordinarily, I would have ignored Wike's known frivolous public statements which well- meaning Nigerians will never take seriously, but for purposes of clarity, I would like to clarify Wike's blatant lies.

In Ikwerre custom and tradition, the declaration of the death of an individual is usually done by the deceased immediate family, but whereby such is not done, whatever related information that comes to the public from sources other than the aforestated is usually considered a rumour, and must be treated as frivolous and unreliable.

Furthermore, the declaration of the death of Senator Mbata's mother in a political ground by a man who is not of Mbata's family, goes against the culture and tradition of Ikwerre people. It is clear that the immediate family of the deceased as claimed by Wike, has not declared the same and are also not aware of Wike's claims in public. Therefore, Wike's claim of the demise of Senator Mbata's mother in public should be disregarded, but rather be considered a one of those statements muttered by a drowning man in the river seeking for who will go the same way with him.

Moreover, Wike's uncultured claim also insinuates that Senator Mbata is at loggerheads with his siblings over his parent's properties, and that has been the reason for delays in his mother's burial. While these claims are justifiably baseless, it is expedient that the Mbata's family rises up to the occasion at this point in time and clear the air, by informing the public about the true state of their mother, as this would clarify any misinformation and disinformation being deliberately spread to score political cheap points.

It is on record that the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Senator John Azuta Mbata JP, is a man of noble character, who at his early age of 18, worked independently and secured for himself a lot of properties. It is also evident that from his adulthood till date, Senator John Azuta Mbata never depended on his father's wealth. No wonder at his early thirties, he trained Wike as a lawyer and independently sponsored him, and made him the chairman of ObioAkpo LGA.

Senator John Azuta Mbata is a man well loved by his parents. For this fact, it would suffice to say that Senator Mbata's father, Late Elder Sam Mbata, until his demise in 2020, didn't find a reason to use offensive words against the said Senator as has been occasionally done to Wike, who's father ostracized and cursed him many times. Check Wike and his father, there's no iota of sign of any father and son relationship between them until now.

It is evidently clear that Senator John Azuta Mbata, started progressing at the time Wike was still writing his primary school exams. Rivers people are not oblivious of Wike's way of acquiring Government owned properties in a very cruel manners, that has often times been detrimental to civil servants, residents and business owners. Today in Rivers State, thousands and one families are in pains over untimely and forceful acquisition of their properties by way of threats of revocation. Senator John Azuta Mbata cannot exemplify such uncharitable manners portrayed by Wike on daily basis. Today in FCT Abuja, thousands of families, health workers and properties developers are in agony as a result of Wike's administrative trade of inhumaneness.

We are aware that as at when the contest for the position of the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, was made open, Wike, in his Nicodemus characteristics, sponsored a former Inspector General of Police just for him to control Ohanaeze Ndigbo, but all his attempt failed. Against this backdrop, he thereafter resorted to sponsoring one man from Abia State who also failed in all, Wike's attempts were built on political gimmicks which didn't yield any result. In fact, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide's election has been the reason why Wike could not approach the current Governor of IMO State till date, as they are not in good terms.

Wike's politics of Jack of all trade, has made him to be seen by all and sundry as man of unstable characters. Therefore, Wike should not be taken seriously in all of his political endeavours.

A man who openly said he will never be a minister but today he lobbied for it, and he is also lobbying in advance for ministerial position 2027, such a man should not be taken into confidence. A man who openly addressed APC as a cancerous party at the highest stage, yet he is now campaigning for the same party. What a shame to Wike.

Senator John Azuta Mbata will never be compared with Wike's irresponsible character of betrayal and his unruly, unreasonable behaviour to the public

It is quite disappointing to see a group purporting to be a committee of friends, hold a press briefing that fell short of expectations. Despite the presence of Chidi Lloyd, Ph.D.and Hon. Gift Wolu, Ph.D., the presentation lacked substance, coherence, and factual basis. Their petty grievances and misuse of language were quite evident.

What's even more concerning is their inability to refute the wise words of Senator John Azuta Mbata, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, regarding the integrity of the individual in question. Instead, they continue to misuse the term 'integrity' in public forums.

It's surprising that individuals of their caliber, who claim to be lecturers at universities, would produce such a poorly written piece. Perhaps it's time for these institutions to review the quality of their faculty.

The fact that the publication wasn't signed by any individual and only featured pictures of attendees raises questions about the group's credibility. It's clear that their efforts are futile, and God will ultimately prevail in Rivers State.It's disturbing to see individuals who claim to be scholars and lecturers produce work that lacks intellectual rigor and honesty. Their failure to address the criticisms leveled against them speaks volumes. It's clear that their efforts are driven by ulterior motives rather than a genuine desire to serve the public interest.
