Amina stood afar off, watching from a corner. And the moment Ike drove off with his family, she bolted and headed out of the compound.

“Are you going out too?” the security guard called out to her.

“Yes,” she glanced back at him and waved.

Their desires took over, leading them to passionate borders they shouldn’t ever think of crossing just yet.

Economically, the price of goods/ services are determined by core principles as
1. Cost of production.
2. "" of transportation.
3. Market. (Demand and supply dynamics among other issues).

Nigeria is an unrealistic market place where the human factor is added factor in price determination. I never cared about aTinubu nor about other political jobblers ( Atiku,Kwankwaso, Peter Obi among a long list) making claims they not examples of.
The bottom line is we are all in for a long thing and more chaos aplenty. Forget World Bank or IMF they will only make the situation more precarious.
Unfortunately the examples of bad governance abound all over the world like CAR, Zimbabwe, Colombia, Somalia, Ethiopia : these are the role models for the future Nigeria is [color=#770077][/color]headed towards.

I think what is happening is that NNPC wants Dangote to announce its price by itself.

NNPC will buy at that price and sell to the public.

And if other buyers can also buy directly from Dangote, as the NNPC has now said, then no one can blame NNPC for pricing.

Mr Dangote will not like this as whatever price he announces will not please the public.

In a corruption riddled economy like Nigeria, no system can set prices but people in power. For this reason, only an uninformed or stupid investor will put cash here.

Nothing impress me about him anymore, I liked him and thought he will be a good president but he broke my heart.

I was reliably informed on how he transformed Lagos and how good he was with governance but I guess a lot changed about him.

Firstly I faulted his appointees and noticed he was just appointing people based on personal relationship and not competence. Not even one Okonjo iweala or Sanusi Lamido in his government. I still wish him to do well, any government that has no good impact on the downtrodden is a bad government.
Put Nigeria in your daily prayers and ask God to fix it.

Yes I agree to an extent, a country with good supply of electricity is usually attractive to a rational investor for following reasons:
1. There will be a good culture of maintaining public infrastructure
2. There is better efficiency in planning
3. Citizens are served a better deal as they simply use what they need
4. Countries attracting majority of Japa- prone Nigerians have good electricity supply.

Awka,July 2,2024 (NAN)The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has vowed to go on strik soon if the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu, ignores the FG ASUU Agreement further.

The prayer warriors of the union prayed that the day protest will not go in vain and asked for God's intervention in the matter that have lasted for decades and passed under many administration unattended

Earlier, Chairman of ASUU of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) chapter Awka, Prof. Kingsley Ubaorji, made the call during a march protest by its members in Awka on Tuesday.

Salary increments though needed, will not solve the economic problem rather the political class has to reduce the profligacy in expenditure that cannot improve the living conditions of the common man. Expenditure has to be appropriately directed where it will count, Let proper investment be committed to power provision and adequate security.
Then maybe we may have a better deal in Nigeria. So far Tinubu is on the popular route to gross failure.
