Internet fraud is one cancerous act that’s not just eating deep into society but also staining the image of not just individuals but countries.
There’s a new trend out there which happens and happened to my cousin (name withheld)who lives in the US.

So a particular scam artiste/fraudster by name William (IG name @rarely.teg) pictures attached goes around chatting up unsuspecting and vulnerable ladies with the pretext of lending a shoulder to cry/lean on.

So he crept into my counsin’s DM and got chatty with her. Over a period of time (4-5months) she felt cool with him to the tone of assisting him when he claimed his BTC wallet was hacked and he needed seeking IT help to regain access especially due to sensitive materials in the wallet.
He asked my cousin for the sum of N3,000,000 which he’d pay back once he gets the right tools needed to regain his BTC wallet access. Being softhearted and considerate of her friend, my cousin unsuspectingly sent the money into three different SportyNet accounts he had sent to her:

Hours after, he blocked her on IG, WhatsApp and everywhere.

Days later he went on to chat my cousin’s friend who was actually in the know of the scam. She (the friend) shared a screenshot of similar chat-up pattern he had used on my cousin. He claims to reside in South Africa.

So pls be careful out there. Help report and avoid the account @rarely.teg

Multitalented youngster Jerry Adibe better known as Jerry Shaffer is Hennessy’s official hypeman whose love for music culminated into what is today known as ‘lamba’ in local Nigerian. This parlance further drew him into the hypeman business where he has now gone on to become one of Nigeria’s most sought after hypemen.
