UK Tier 4 Visa Application - 18th September 2021(Priority). I am the main applicant and my wife is the dependent.
Course of study- M.Sc in Information Technology and Network Management at Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen, Scotland
Biometrics - Wednesday 22nd September 2021 at Ikeja TLS for myself and my wife. My wife had appointment but I did walk-in as I can’t wait till 24th September because school has resumed since 13th September and my own biometrics was meant to be 24th September.
Monday 27th September 2021 - Received first NSF Mail
Monday 4th October 2021 - Received 2nd NSF mail. Shortly after I received a call and an email from UKVI for a video interview slated for the following day 5th October for 9:30am. ( At this stage we have disposed of most of our things at home and we’re practically sleeping on the floor. Imagine the tensions that were already creeping into our mind and lives?)
Tuesday 5th October 2021 - Video interview commenced as scheduled and lasted for about 1 hour. Questions asked ranges from reasons for my previous three visa refusals from 2003(two refusals) and 2016(one). The also asked reasons for the 13 year educational gap between B. Sc (2008) and intending M.Sc(2021) and what I have been doing in-between those years. They asked other others ranging from why I wanted to study IT, why I chose Robert Gordon Uni, what myself and wife were doing for a living amongst other sundry questions then the interview ended.
Monday 11th October 2021 - Wife’s profile moved to VAC and later that day a pickup mail was delivered .
Tuesday 12th October 2021- My profile moved to VAC and a pickup mail was sent later that day.
We both travelled to Lagos on Friday to pick up our passport with our visa inside.
It was a torrid journey which started in May 2021 and had a lot of delays from my university(Olabisi Onabanjo University) failing to process my transcripts on time to RGU first offering me a pre-masters which I rejected to the real masters admission coming out late on the 1st of September 2021. What about having to go to the Ikoyi registry to correct numerous errors on our wedding certificate which they made three times? The numerous near accidents on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway amongst others.
In all these we thank the good lord that the whole project was successful at the end.
Exactly what I use to say! No one can actually fathom their ways when approving applications. From Bsc to Advance Diploma. Submit the right documents and leave everything to God. Congratulations!!!

MindfulV: If I were in your shoes, I will hinge my study purpose on the fact that diversifying the economy through agriculture is a top priority for Nigeria right now. I will go on to state that agricultural lending by commercial banks has remained really low (state the statistics, I think it is about 2%). The reason is largely due to the lack of understanding of agricultural risk by Nigerian bankers. I will then go on to show how increased lending will boost agriculture which will in turn increase the sector’s contribution to GDP, reduce unemployment and ultimately move Nigeria from a monolithic economy to a diversified economy.
Now, the question will be what your personal persuasion is. If you were working in marketing or in the agriculture desk in your bank, it would be easier to establish this. You would probably state that you have worked on some loan requests from some agribusiness customers and you gained so much satisfaction from serving this particular set of customers compared to customers from other sectors. You could also add that that there are certain agribusiness customers you have lost because you were unable to meet their loan requests due to your limited understanding of their business. To wrap it up, you could state that you are interested in pursuing a Masters in Agriculture because your background is agriculture, you work on agriculture-related transactions as a commercial banker and you are therefore interested in further building your competence in this area as it has huge potential in your country.
Hello everyone,I have a bachelor degree in Animal science related to the course Aquaculture I gained admission at MUN but Advance Diploma this Fall semester. I was told by an agency receptionist after checking my admission that the degree I applied for is lower than a bachelor degree (Advance Diploma) instead of applying for a post graduate since my qualification is bachelor's degree. They aren't sure it would fly if I proceed, I explained that I earlier applied for MSc but highly competitive and no supervisor available as at when I was trying to apply over two years now, Pls can I proceed with the study permit for Advanced Diploma since the it is lower than my Bsc. Please what's your take, is it defendable with a strong SOP? Do you feel it's advisable to try my luck? I graduated 2011 in Animal science, my CV is major on Banking history and recently on Entrepreneurship, In 2019 I had a certificate of participation in Federal college of Fisheries and Marine Technology, lagos, it was a seminar, I have the certificate awarded in my name. Over time I use to practice fishery(aquaculture)on a small scale and consultant

Nice. I've liked and subscribed to your channel. I have a question on the affidavit, courts are currently on strike, how do i get my sponsor to sign.
Oluwayemisi0507: My people, I just uploaded 10 ways to prove funds for your Canadian study visa application. These are based on my experience as well as my friends'.
I got admission at MUN Fall semester this Sept. Please do you advise I apply through a reputable agency or it's easy to run the process myself, if yes, pls I don't know where to start my application. I already have IELTS score.
Anon123: You have to apply fir a visa before you get an NSE request
So I received NSE request and I did my IELTS on the 8th of May, my result is out. I prepared for a week but God did it, and i did well.
I am to upload my IELTS result to my application but British council has refused to send the soft copy and they are not receiving visitors in their office because I wanted to go and pick up.
They are saying a dispatch will bring it to my house. I used BC because they had flexible and close test dates, please from you guy's experience does it usually take long to have your IELTS result couriered to you? the deadline for my upload is May 30th.
I will appreciate any advise i can get. Many thanks
