Rumors are very, very powerful. They spread like wild fire and are often lapped up quickly, just as a very hungry man would eat any food that comes his way without bothering to find out where it comes from. It is the easiest thing in the world to hear a rumor and begin to spread it around adding and subtracting from it according to what people want to hear, especially if it is tasty. It is a harder thing however to seek to find out the truth about something and respect that, neither adding to its nor subtracting from it. Right from time, man has loved to gossip; we all have itching ears, eager to hear the latest, especially if it is defaming someone’s persona.

Prophetic revelations and predictions from ‘men of God’ are among the most tampered with, misused, assumed upon and spread through various media forms, particularly here in Africa.

The renowned prophet TB Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Nigeria is among those whose prophecies are grabbed, twisted, changed and spread round like there’s no tomorrow. Why so much controversy? Why so much interest? Why is everyone talking about this man? Is he a false prophet or genuinely sent from God? One thing is clear, opinions vary widely. While some praise him from the housetops, others vilify him as if he is the cause of all evil and pain in this world.

TB Joshua did predict the demise of an African leader who has been battling with an ailment for long, but that was just about all he said on the issue, his words never contained the specifics we later saw in

Visit certain areas of London on a Sunday morning and chances are you’ll see a stream of well-dressed families en route to church. It’s likely more than half will be from ethnic minorities.

People of African and Caribbean origin make up 2% of the UK’s population but account for more than two-thirds of Sunday church-goers in London and 7% of worshippers nationwide, research has shown. Many go to black-led churches such as SCOAN London in which regularly attracts around 200 to 400 people to its Sunday services where we the Watching TB Joshua visited for 4 week to investigate what the BBC and SKY NEWS featured.

We at Watching TB Joshua find it necessary to investigate why the BBC and SKY NEWS decided to look into the Practices of SCOAN and the ministry of TB Joshua when there other Churches, most of them are black led. ‘Black church’ may be a phrase that makes every Christian wince. But the phrase represents a reality believers cannot ignore. Worship commentators normally focus on either the white, middle class charismatic renewal or the serene solemnity of the liturgical tradition. Seldom do they pause to consider one of the fastest growing and most distinctive manifestations of God-centered worship, Britain’s burgeoning black churches. Before commencing our investigating the SCOAN and the Ministry of TB Joshua we started visiting Churches every Sunday and that when we discovered Britain’s burgeoning black churches.

Christians from a wide variety of church backgrounds will be familiar with the practice of individuals ‘giving their testimony’ or ‘sharing’ – telling about the blessings or trials they’re experiencing in their Christian lives, either in a public service or a more intimate small-group meeting. One of such is TB Joshua’s testimony. His testimony gives an insight of what Jesus himself and the apostles faced during their earthly ministry. The roots of the custom seem to lie with David back in the Psalms. “I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O Lord. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of you faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly.” Psalm 40:10. In the black Pentecostal church, which is stereotyped as informal and spontaneous, giving testimony, is marked by a considerable degree of formality. Typically one giving testimony in this service begins with the words “Emmanuel” to which the congregation respond “God with us”. It’s a blistering cold Sunday morning in 4th January, 2012 yet the Synagogue Church of all nations in London was filled with members attending a ‘praise and worship’ session, and when it was time for prayer the congregation joined TB Joshua and l saw many set free of their ailment; yes set free because they are some of the people we took their to confirm our finding. I thought Ayo being the president of the P.F.N was capable of summoning all the opinion leaders in Nigeria, including both Christians and Muslims and other religions to build bridges towards peace than rather adding more fuel to flames. I don't agree with you in this kind of thread. As much as I don't agree with many things PFN stands for. We must recognize Gods call upon ministers even in their faults. Nobody is perfect. Let's avoid criticizing ministers and bringing ridicule to the body openly. Archbishop might not have been perfect ,but he was a great man who did great things for Gods kingdom worldwide. He made tv preaching possible in nigeria. He fought for so many things and won. And many people a beneficiary of his sacrifice. I am very surprise you don’t agree with me. So l guess its ok for Archbishop Idahosa to hold a crusade at Tafa Balewa Square to say that

When you are called by God and a great anointing is bestowed on you, it becomes a source of jealousy, envy and back stabbing. Many Judases rise from within and outside your own fold to destroy and to tarnish your image. But as it is often said, what people don’t understand, they call names.

It all started when Archbishop Idahosa came out strongly against Prophet T.B. Joshua to the extent of questioning his calling and pronouncing a death sentence on him by saying next year by this time he T.B. Joshua would be no more. There is currently a rumour circulating that on Sunday 11th December, 2011, TB Joshua predicted a third world war.

CORRECTION: Prophet T.B. Joshua did not say that there would be a third world war. He did not say that civilisation would be gone. We should be very careful about changing a prophetic message to suit our own philosophy or our own world view.

IN DEFENCE OF SCOAN

Our attention has been drawn to a BBC report on healing practices in churches across London.

It highlighted the deaths of three sufferers of HIV who refused to take in their medication because they believed they had been healed by their pastors. The report never said anything damning about the Synagogue.

It never linked the three deaths to Synagogue as the detractors of T.B Joshua would like us to believe. In SCOAN, a doctor’s report is requested before anyone is arraigned for prayer and healing. After prayer and healing the patients are made to go back for a thorough check with their doctor’s to find out whether they have been healed or otherwise. This has been the procedure and practice in SCOAN since its inception.

Whilst we believe in divine healing, we also make sure mandatory hospital checks are applied to ascertain the truth of healing. The bible is not a historical document and it is alive with healing and miracles. It is God’s word made alive and when applied works. We know the healer and He is Christ, the King.

The assertion of Francis Kaikumba of African Health Policy Network (AHPN) that, ‘SCOAN may be one of those involved in the practices’ is unsustainable in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

In another development, Sky on the 25/11/11 tried to disingenuously link an AID’s sufferer who said he had been told by his pastor in North London to stop taking his AID’s tablets to Synagogue. Synagogue as church has never operated in the North of London. It operated in the South East of London and now back to its former place of worship in London Yes, we believe in divine healing and we make sure those who attend the prayer line to be prayed for furnish us with their medical history before being prayed for. After prayers, they are made to go for a thorough check up with their doctors to find out whether they have healed or not. As stated earlier, we believe in divine healing, as well as, conventional medicine, they both complement each other. Check a follow up of their sky reportage in the link provided SKY NEWS. We urge Sky to be forthright in presenting the truth. In their news report they made it appear Emmanuel was a member of Synagogue and in their printed media with its link provided above they stated Emmanuel was a member of a church in North London. The contradiction is glaring for all to see. Our freedom to worship and to follow our faith and beliefs is not in conflict with the national interest. We have a right to our freedom to worship and association.

The BBC report has been seized upon by a group of noted former members of SCOAN to peddle lies and discredit the church. We know they are behind this orchestration to tear apart the Church and cause disaffection for it in the eyes of the public but their actions will come to naught. The church is firmly rooted in Christ and no amount of attacks would distract it from its agenda of reaching out and saving lost souls.

Until recently, we at Watch Prophet TB Joshua always thought that the best way to analyse issues is to rely on the information provided by “experts”, whose job it is to inform others, especially those who really do not have the time to do the investigations and groundwork themselves. As tales of the gruesome slander propagated by TB Joshua Watch continue to evoke emotions from scoan supporters on the internet, their hidden agenda is becoming all the more obvious to everyone, Just like the Biblical pharisees in Jesus day, they seem to be ever ready to tarnish the reputation of TB Joshua, using every cunning means, misinterpreting his best intentions and giving no single thought to the faith related crisis they may leave in their wake as long as their sinister purpose is achieved.

They recently hatched another long nursed evil with a fiendish article titled: TB Joshua and SCOAN- a beginners guide! In which they sourced an article from the BBC Website claiming it was an article on SCOAN London, an excerpt from their article reads:

“Today the BBC News website published a story by Andy Dangerfield on SCOAN London“.

(particularly note the use of the words “…story… ON Scoan london”)

We’ve spotted the oddity in this statement and found it thoroughly embarrassing that they would resort to Lies from the very first sentence in their post, as the article in question was never about Scoan London, but about how some churches HIV prayer cure caused three deaths, due to the advice by the churches evangelical pastors to stop taking their antiretroviral drugs. There was absolutely no reference in the BBC report linking the three deceased persons to Scoan London, this is just one of TB Joshua watch’s disgusting pharisees tactic of inferring stuff to back up their cynicism, rather than stating obvious facts.

According to the BBC report, the HIV prevention charity African Health Policy Network (AHPN) only expressed concerns over the growing number of London churches that have been telling people to stop medication, that the power of prayer will “cure” their infections, and that the trend is becoming widespread across a number of churches of which they suspected the Scoan to be part of because of its HIV healing testimonies.

Trying to join dots and connect the facts stated in the BBC report to the aspersions cast by TB Joshua watch, brings one question to mind;

Just how does a baseless suspicion by AHPN that Scoan is one of  such churches telling people to stop medication, get to mean that the three deaths occurred at Scoan London?

Absolutely no way at all, yet these are two very separate and distinct ideas cunningly merged by TB Joshua watch to back up their instinctive cynicism, and such is the appalling deceptiveness they orchestrate on the internet on regular basis. On careful thought to the ANHP’S suspicion, We have more than enough reason to believe that the SCOAN could never be one of such churches as the ANHP suspected, being a ministry that boasts of a medical department in the church premises with doctors and nurses working tirelessly there, its unthinkable that they would reject or denounce any usage of medication. As the church itself was quoted to have said in the article:

“We don’t ask people to stop taking medication,” the church added. “Doctors treat; God heals.”

Another indication of whom they are behind their sly disguise is the way TB Joshua watch seemed sinisterly eager to use the above report, quoted the report out of context, hurriedly posted a link to it on their site within several hours of the news release, and claiming they know four other deceased persons under similar circumstances to those stated in the BBC News besides the three reported. Thus they succeeded in a serpentine manner to come up with a total of seven deceased persons in Scoan, three of which weren’t in any way connected with Scoan London as seen in the BBC report and four of which are unverifiable allegations, Little wonder Jesus often referred to the pharisees as snakes, and a brood of vipers, (Matt 23:33), apparently due to their deceptive antics and tactics, no different from those employed by that old serpent- Satan, to beguile eve. As expected of the pharisees, they remain undaunted in their quest to fight TB Joshua to a standstill, but in all its nothing more than a fools errand, considering the  more challenging battles TB Joshua has confronted and conquered, their precursors who brought all manner of allegations against Christ to condemn him would be proud of them in this regard, as they’re perfectly following their footsteps much to their shame and our utter disappointment.

As one commenter said on TB Joshua watch, this is just a disgusting attempt by Satan to stop many of his captives from going over to the strongest power that defeats him so that he can keep them in eternal bondage, even if Scoan has indeed fallen short of a godly ministry as they claim, it wouldn’t be the only one that has fallen amongst thousands existent in the Uk, the implications of all these rants about SCOAN alone just lends enormous credence to the fact that they are indeed the only ministry in the world giving  Satan a hell of a heartache, and not being able to defeat the mightiness of God’s power in SCOAN leaves him with only one option, to use his agents to  peddle lies to discredit the ministry in the eyes of the world and it would take a look of faith on the part of christian faithfuls world wide to see through this satanic duplicity.

We’ve spotted the oddity in this statement and found it thoroughly embarrassing that they would resort to Lies from the very first sentence in their post, as the article in question was never about Scoan London, but about how some churches HIV prayer cure caused three deaths, due to the advice by the churches evangelical pastors to stop taking their antiretroviral drugs. There was absolutely no reference in the BBC report linking the three deceased persons to Scoan London, this is just one of critics disgusting pharisees tactic of inferring stuff to back up their cynicism, rather than stating obvious facts.

According to the BBC report, the HIV prevention charity African Health Policy Network (AHPN) only expressed concerns over the growing number of London churches that have been telling people to stop medication, that the power of prayer will “cure” their infections, and that the trend is becoming widespread across a number of churches of which they suspected the Scoan to be part of because of its HIV healing testimonies.

Trying to join dots and connect the facts stated in the BBC report to the aspersions cast by TB Joshua watch, brings one question to mind;

Just how does a baseless suspicion by AHPN that Scoan is one of such churches telling people to stop medication, get to mean that the three deaths occurred at Scoan London?

Absolutely no way at all, yet these are two very separate and distinct ideas cunningly merged by TB Joshua watch to back up their instinctive cynicism, and such is the appalling deceptiveness they orchestrate on the internet on regular basis. On careful thought to the ANHP’S suspicion, We have more than enough reason to believe that the SCOAN could never be one of such churches as the ANHP suspected, being a ministry that boasts of a medical department in the church premises with doctors and nurses working tirelessly there, its unthinkable that they would reject or denounce any usage of medication. As the church itself was quoted to have said in the article:

“We don’t ask people to stop taking medication,” the church added. “Doctors treat; God heals.”

Another indication of whom they are behind their sly disguise is the way our critics seemed sinisterly eager to use the above report, quoted the report out of context, hurriedly posted a link to it on their site within several hours of the news release, and claiming they know four other deceased persons under similar circumstances to those stated in the BBC News besides the three reported. Thus they succeeded in a serpentine manner to come up with a total of seven deceased persons in Scoan, three of which weren’t in any way connected with Scoan London as seen in the BBC report and four of which are unverifiable allegations, Little wonder Jesus often referred to the pharisees as snakes, and a brood of vipers, (Matt 23:33), apparently due to their deceptive antics and tactics, no different from those employed by that old serpent- Satan, to beguile eve. As expected of the pharisees, they remain undaunted in their quest to fight TB Joshua to a standstill, but in all its nothing more than a fools errand, considering the more challenging battles TB Joshua has confronted and conquered, their precursors who brought all manner of allegations against Christ to condemn him would be proud of them in this regard, as they’re perfectly following their footsteps much to their shame and our utter disappointment.

As one commenter said on critics site, this is just a disgusting attempt by Satan to stop many of his captives from going over to the strongest power that defeats him so that he can keep them in eternal bondage, even if Scoan has indeed fallen short of a godly ministry as they claim, it wouldn’t be the only one that has fallen amongst thousands existent in the Uk, the implications of all these rants about SCOAN alone just lends enormous credence to the fact that they are indeed the only ministry in the world giving Satan a hell of a heartache, and not being able to defeat the mightiness of God’s power in SCOAN leaves him with only one option, to use his agents to peddle lies to discredit the ministry in the eyes of the world and it would take a look of faith on the part of christian faithfuls world wide to see through this satanic duplicity.

TB Joshua watch, the 21st century Pharisees are at it again with their usual antics, this time under the topic post: Nigeria knocked out of the 2012 African Cup of Nations, and it’s TB Joshua’s fault.

Quite surprising though, that for once they’re making their topic a clear statement rather than their usual question topics must have been a pain for them all along, trying to mask themselves with “heralding a balanced view”.

Just how credible and reliable are the conclusions on SCOAN reached by those who have never been there before?  If they’ve never been there as they themselves have affirmed, then exactly where did they get their supposed truths on TB Joshua and SCOAN? Perhaps from questionable sources like the false testimonies and reports spread by critics and very questionable characters like some ex-disciples who rebelled against TB Joshua and his ministry.
