affoncad: Based on the recent high refusal rate of visitor visas and what I have seen in GCMS notes, it seems that IRCC does not really disclose detailed reasons for visitor visa refusals beyond repeating the same generic phrase: "Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established," especially for first-time traveler applicants, even if you show a bank statement with 40 million. This trend may be influenced by the large number of asylum applicants who previously obtained visitor visas, now affecting recent processing methods. In contrast, student visa refusal notes tend to be more detailed.
I will suggest that anyone looking to reapply for a Canadian visitor visa should first consider taking a trip to another holiday destination, such as the UK. Currently, obtaining a UK tourist visa is easier because of new rules where asylum seekers landing in the UK are sent to Rwanda. As a result, the British are more likely to issue visitor visas. Spending one or two weeks in the UK before reapplying for a Canadian visitor visa could improve your chances, as it demonstrates genuine travel intentions rather than repeatedly applying to visit the same destination.BUT as it stand now Canada is gradually making the visitor visa more difficult based on the current refusal rate! if anybody want to argue please if you have seen any gcms note within the last 2 month and well informed about the current asylum criss in Canada then you will understand the bases of your argument. Not like I’m a fan of asylum seekers or anything but must we always tag asylum seekers as the cause for rejections ? Even if some occasions might be true must you mention them in everything you do?? Focus your energy on positivity , stop blaming asylum seekers for any downfall |

aggiel: Received rejection letter today, applied Nov 8th, 2023, TRV biometrics done on Nov 17th, file was later updated to the date the spousal sponsorship biometrics was done which was Dec 18th, 2023. Reason for denial stated below:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence Sorry about that …. You can tackle the reasons and reapply |

anid54: Hello everyone,
I completed my biometric appointment on February 18th, 2024, CA Visitor visa and I have not received a response yet. Is anyone else in the same situation? Does anyone know when I might expect a decision?
I currently hold a valid UK visa for two years and have traveled to the UK multiple times.
I have a USA visa interview scheduled for the end of May. Can I submit a web form to expedite my CA visa decision?
Thank you for any insights or advice. From my observations I don’t think UK visa speeds up the process . I’ve only seen cases where US visa speeds up process . I think you have to wait for the normal processing time which is 5 months . |

4tunebest: @ Kuniennam, I have been happily, joyfully, blissfully married for over a decade; having being indirectly in your GF's situation before, I can tell you authoritatively that this is the best advise so far. I can't say more than this in a public space, you can send me a pm to elaborate further if you need more clarity as I am not ready to engage people who will mention my post due to opposing views. I'll be willing to share some insights with her to allay her fears if need be. This situation is not as complicated as it seems. It's all in her head- she needs to see the bigger picture beyond hearsays from her acquaintances (yes, there are people speaking to her, fueling her fears)
I wish you all the best Well said 👍 If he has done anything to break her trust before then this act of hers is understandable.. if you’ve not been in such situation before you won’t understand what that lady is going through at the moment . Except in a case where they’ve never had trust issues before then I can now think differently of the lady |

NuCypher: I think many of the commenters are just exaggerating the situation. She's just worried, perhaps having heard so many stories about how japa people move on once they are abroad. The only problem I have with her is just that she's letting her worries get in the way of trust for you. There is no reason she shouldn't trust you. You guys should be a team. Did you do something in the past that makes her not trust you now? If you have been above aboard and she still doesn't trust you or your judgement, then you should be worried. It appears she's trusting friends more than she's trust your judgement. That's not good. God Bless you for this . You’re wise Think outside the Box |

Even US visa with 1 million years validity, will definitely pass through at least 2-3 months processing time.
