Patreek has launched Price Pin — a daily Bitcoin price game.

Every day you guess the BTC/USD price at the settlement time (4:00 PM UTC, price from Coinbase). The closest guess wins $5 in USDC (on Base). Entries close at 12:00 PM UTC daily, and a round needs at least 10 players to run — if it doesn't reach 10, all entry XP is refunded.

Entering costs 5 XP, which you earn on Patreek itself by reading news, posting and engaging (XP is never sold). New accounts that verify their email get 10 XP free — that's two plays. Paid Patreek members enter free.

A new round opens today at 4:00 PM UTC; entries close tomorrow, Friday October 30, at 12:00 PM UTC (1:00 PM Nigerian time).

Some of you may remember my Sentigraph thread from 2017 in this section. I've been building again — this time a small daily game on my news platform — and I genuinely want honest feedback from this section before I push it further.

The game is called Price Pin. Every day, you guess what the Bitcoin price (BTC/USD, taken from Coinbase) will be at 4:00 PM UTC. Closest guess wins $5 in USDC (on Base). There is no entry fee — you enter with XP, which you earn free by reading and posting on the site. New accounts that verify their email get 10 XP immediately — that's two free plays.

One catch I'm dealing with honestly: a round needs at least 10 players before it runs. If it doesn't reach 10, the round cancels and entry XP is refunded. So far the rounds have been cancelling for lack of players — which is why I'm here asking questions instead of just advertising.

My questions for the house:
1. Is a closest-guess format like this interesting, or too slow for Naija users?
2. Is $5 USDC a meaningful prize, or too small to bother with?
3. What would make you trust a small platform enough to play?
