Preboy: some pretty amazing features, bt saying cwm can't reboot recovery and boot loader is an insult na!but I haven't posted the process at all. just mentioned the requirements. the problem is that this f5 has 6mb recovery partition which is not enough for twrp or philz tr which i have ported already, they are 6mb+. so what I want to post is how to increase the partition to 7mb so that it can accommodate it those screenshot posted by qunlexus was taking from his TECNO m5. I think m5's recovery partition is 15mb so it can accommodate the recoveries without any issue. hope u can understand me now |

for the twrp, u have to increase ur recovery partition to 7mb by tweaking ur scatter file gotten from mtkdroid tool, TOOLS NEEDED 1. mtkdroid tools ( will upload this ) 2. sp flash tool v5.1 3. USB driver (pdanet) ( will upload this) 4. mt6572 vcom preloader driver 5. windows based PC ( windows xp, vista or windows 7) 6. USB cable 7. MTK TWRP TOOL (I will upload this) u have to search and download others. when u are ready I will post the procedure. still waiting for kigster anyway to know what he is going to offer. maybe his method would be simpler |

Preboy: post it, I'm interestedcan u mount ur USB storage on Cwmr to access ur files from PC through USB just as the phone is on, can u turn off md5 verification on cwmr, do u want to compare the ui with Cwmr , can u delete backup directly from cwmr, can u reboot the recovery in Cwmr, can u power of the phone directly from Cwmr without removing battery, can u go to bootloader directly on Cwmr and many more I can't even remember. ctr is far better than Cwmr. for the touch not working. it depends on phone, nothing like that on m3 and p5. and this happens when u go to the recovery through the volume up and power button. to avoid that, reboot to recovery directly without switching off the phone and u won't experience that trust me |
