He (the FCT minister) organized press briefing than the president himself poke nosing to the administration you're not part of. Your tenure as governor has ended, why not let the person in charge now run his own administration too? it was stated that 100 naira for every 20k withdrawal and 100 naira on any amount after the 20k withdrawal. I guess you won't be charged for 5k until your withdrawal enter 20k

Time for banks to cashout. Some no go allow you collect pass 5k at once, so if I'm withdrawing 20,000 with ATM machine that only dispense 5k, I will be paying 400# charges. You can't lose your money in mutual fund that is invested in money market. As you money market is selling and buying of short term securities such as govt securities ( treasury bills), commercial papers, bankers' acceptance and fixed deposit. These securities are combination of risk free security like Treasury bills and very low risk risk security like fixed deposit.

It is practically impossible to lose your entire fund or substantial part of your fund in money market mutual funds. Because there is no way federal government will not honor to pay Treasury bills it issues.

In finance when investment is rated low risk.it means that the investment is highly secured and you will get your principal back intact. Let me tell u no investment is risk free or riskless because even if you investment in safest place in the world, war, natural disasters as earthquake, storms can make one to lose such some part of all the investment

There are different types or classes of mutual funds according to risk appetite. There are conservative and low risk funds e.g. money market mutual funds, conservative and medium risk and aggressive and high risk and very aggressive and high risk funds.

I googled this now but it's not completely risk free. It was said to be low risk compared to other Stanbic market fund
