1Sharon:Is that what your husband or brothers think. Well not me! |
Lol The level at which awon boiz have taken their hustle to, this doesn't surprise me. Madam, Nigerian men are very very selective, and our women are premium standard - Beauty, in the kitchen, brains, and on bed. Benefits aside, no sane Nigerian man will be proud to be dating or sleeping with any white women old enough to be his mother. But for the sake of the hustle (Green card and all) We send you our greetings and we appreciate the international recognition. Wese! |
SocialJustice:You win. Bye! |
SocialJustice:You said you can't win a sitting Governor. I gave you an example of a sitting Governor that was intimidated, oppressed and eventually booted out of office. I don't have time for plenty argument. Wasn't Ambode treated worse than Fubara and his political career truncated prematurely? |
SocialJustice:Ambode.
|
AzizG550:One carton monthly. Is he eating for the entire family? |
Sleekfingers:Noted sir. |

IconsConnect:Let me add something to your enlightened post. There are only two political parties - The Rich and the Poor. The rich would associate with eachother irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, and political affiliation. As far as they have access to wealth and the nation's resources. The poor will always fight themselves, in support of the rich that don't care about them. |
Procashtips:The name "Benin" (and "Bini" is a Portuguese corruption, ultimately from the word "Ubini", which came into use during the reign of Oba (ruler) Ewuare, c. 1440. "Ubini", an Edo word meaning Livable, used by Pa Idu, the progenitor of the Edo people to describe the area found as a Livable Locale, during their sojourn from lower Egypt. |
Lol The unending woes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. There's light at the end of the tunnel. The question is, would we even survive to see the end of the tunnel? |
PR After the blunder... Follows unnecessary series of PR events. Don't respond to issues when you're angry. Wait for about 5 hours... Then respond. As a professional, don't always engage the public by yourself. Get a professional SM manager or a PR agency. Nobody loves you on the Social Media. Ask Verydarkman, he has been to prison twice, yet the people that he is fighting are walking about freely and sleeping with their families in their homes. Yet people are on SM hailing and supporting him. Finally, always resist the urge to go live, post that picture or video. Nothing beats a private life. Abi Kante don die? |
Those billboards won't be standing by weekend. They'll bring them down! |
Alliswell248:So the Yoruba/bini names there are IPOB. ![]() |
Benin is a stronghold for Labour Party. Their supporters there are vicious and very reactive. Oba should have ignored Akpata's statement and stayed on the neutral side. Rather than humiliating him, thereby seemingly behaving like he is against his candidacy. Furthermore, the Oba is currently at loggerheads with Governor Godwin Obaseki, this one wey people con like, you don dey get beef with am. E be like say you no dey see wetin dey happen for Kano. Abeg oooooo |
seunmsg:Or yourself. |

Nigeria This country is a joke. Honestly. And if you're still hoping that thugs would get better, you're in for a long heartbreak. Names that should have been published within 30 minutes. Mount a roadblock in every 5 minutes driving distance within a 100 mile radius. 2 helis hovering round that 30 mile radius with snippers on the look for any shady movement. Then tap into the phone lines of their family and frequently called friends |
Georgry:No be Benin Volcano ooooo. Na the one wey dey Abuja. |
So all those their over zealous bouncers couldn't do anything... ![]() Na to dey carry chest like Dangote's cement dey act like they're bullet proof. RIP Dj... Occupational Hazard! |
Ok |
bukatyne:Queen Amina wasn't a man. |
Blazadenise:Rich kid wey dey go market? Na broke ass wey wan form woke! |
natedensel:Some of those women you see selling in the market have more money than you. They have used that business to sponsor three to four children up to post graduate level. Dey there dey form! |
I would say dignity in labor. But in this era of camera phones, social media and clout chasing, I hardly believe anything that I see in pixels. But still... I admire his willingness to fend for himself, rather than constitute nuisance as a beggar. Far back as 2014, there's this very young girl that usually sit on one pedestrian bridge I used on my way to work. She had a very small child then (Less than a year). Whenever I pass through through that route, I'll squeeze some money and place it into her hands. I left the area about three years later... Early this year, I visited the neighbourhood, and passed through the bridge again... Omoh. The lady was on that same spot. Her boy all grown!.. She smiled at me, expecting me to drop something as usual, but damn. I wasn't impressed. A group of wisemen used to say "If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl. If you can't crawl, just keep moving". There's never an excuse for being in the same spot for such a long time... Well. I heard some beggars in Abuja are landlords, and some own cars able bodied men drive for them as taxis... Never believed the story though... But still... Leave that bridge! |
Man. It mustn't be music. Don't be like Blackface who has turned himself into a circus clown on Facebook, all because he wants to answer the name musician. El-Dee is in the US buying properties and leasing them up as rentals. Banky W has turned to a Pastor cum politician. Dbanj has one leg in politics and the other in showbiz. Tufave has chains of businesses that he is managing. |
Lol Coincidentally, I'm having one while reading this. The sugar inside this drink ehn.... ![]() Thank God for bitter kola... For every 35cl I take.. I balance it with 1k worth of bitter kola. Let them go and fight themselves inside my stomach. ![]()

Even if Zidane is brought to coach Super Eagles, nothing good can come out of it. It's not the coach. It's the system! Everything is fundamentally wrong. |
The type of things that we celebrate as a nation is just amazing! Fulani herdsman, speaking fluent English is news in Nigeria in 2024.. Anyway, trust these normads at your own peril. They will settle km away from your community, acting very friendly and humble. They will learn your language, be part of your culture, then start multiplying like roaches. 20 to 30 years later, they'll launch a crusade to take over your land and everything. |
