Nigeria won't be here.. Even if you make a list of the 1000 best-governed African countries. |
In a statement on oath to the ICPC, el-Rufai said he was being persecuted as an opposition figure. He stated that he would exercise his right to silence until arraigned before a court. He said: “I am a leading member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which I consider the only surviving opposition party in Nigeria, and that is the real reason I am being investigated. “Regarding this question and any other questions, I have, on the advice of counsel, decided to exercise my right to silence. “I believe that after nearly two years of intensive investigation, the ICPC should present its findings before a judicial tribunal and not to me. “I will respond to any allegations only in a court of law. I do not believe these investigations amount to law enforcement. “This is political persecution which only a judge can decide upon.” There should be a disclaimer attached to this paragraph. As a poor man, don't try this stunt with any Nigerian security agency. |
Don't attempt to post censored words by misspelling them. |
internationalman:Nigeria is not even a fish. Sea weed! That's what we are. |
Just get your family out of that shit hole. |

After God Na government. |
My "team of the tournament" is Bodo/Glimt. Those guys are doing wonders! Galatassary nearly bottled a 3-goal advantage, even when their opponent was one man down. Galatassary's midfielders didn't feed Osimhen enough ball. At some point, baba was para-ing for his teammates. Vini Jnr should have made the list. He performed very very well against Benfica. |
benardtotti:Lol. The right people will fight dirty, and she will be around the dirt. |
One small Fulani country that I stayed last year has this metro, theirs is even powered by electricity. To them... It's nothing but a basic means of transportation. No noise. No bragging. And yes. In addition to a great road network covering even rural areas, they have great security, and 24-hour power! |

Vision101:What network issues please? Is there any part in Nigeria, where the network hasn't reached? INEC should study the network system of companies like Bolt, Uber and Wave. I have used these three services for years, and there is hardly any downtime. Why should we even be talking about network services when we have been making so much noise about 5G? 2026 Nigeria can't hold a credible local government election. Just create a simple biometric system that won't allow one fingerprint to vote twice, then put in place a system that collates and transmits voting results in real time. As someone is pressing his thumb for party A, the decision is recorded on the machine and transmitted to a coalition centre where the results can be seen on a screen. |
Congress Report Labels Nigeria ‘Deadliest Place For Christians', Cites Decades Of Persecution, Killings |
Burob:Everything that you said here is debatable. You can't say you're a long-time Abuja resident, and you've never heard of Ordinary Ahmed Isa. The person who won didn't win because of his popularity, he won because he contested under a party that has a better structure and he has the backing of the minister and the FG. And yes - sometimes the results that are presented from the polls lie! |
Jayhome24:As much as I don't support his opinion, but you saying you don't know Dr Mo as an FCT resident shows that you don't know Abuja. You're a mere resident! |
APC doesn't even recognise ADC as a worthy opposition. Their main concern used to be PDP. But the have succeeded In clipping PDP wings by using Wike. ADC is just jusy noise! Soicla media party indeed |
Please spell words correctly when you post, and try to use perfect grammar and punctuation |
ednut1:Honestly! When I start comparing Nigeria with smaller West African countries, people will start insulting me. These countries might not be as "flashy and sophisticated" as Nigeria... But they have gone past this level many many years ago. |

Everyday, you must hear one strange news from Nigeria. |
MVLOX:I knew that someone would eventually mention banker... ![]() |
Swears - Nigeria Na still a "big for nothing"! Over the weekend, I had a supervision to do in Senegal. Flew in from my base to Dakar... Supervision was meant to take place at Sally... over 110km from Dakar... The entire road network was freaking smooth... If you know Senegal well, Dakar to Sally is about 110km. These things were done without fanfare. No noise...! Why TH are we celebrating road construction in Nigeria in 2026 like it's rocket science, when relatively poorer countries are doing these things effortlessly? It's a good thing that infrastructure is being put in place, but why does this have to make the news? Next thing now, you'll start seeing tribal wars.... Upon tiny project wey dey above an entire sovereign nation of over 200 million people! |
That's why I don't trust social media people. They are the most hypocritical, lazy, judgmental, unrealistic bunch of creatures. |
How did I become part of a country with these type of people? It shall never be well with Britain! |
The US “Department of War”, he said, was preparing to go into the West African country “guns-a-blazing” over what he claimed was the killing of Christians in Nigeria. |
Una sure say hope still dey for this zoo? Very soon, they'll use these same tactics to keep one president for 43 years like Paul Biya of Cameroon, and people will be cheering them because of crumbs. Hope we know that there are people who are cheering Paul Biya to date? |
Sonnobax15:Are you proud to type that our presidential villa is powered by solar energy, while the rest of the country wallows in darkness? This is why our leaders take us for granted! |
Aside from the beats, they just kept repeating the same line over and over again. I'll pass this for Chris Brown FT Gunna - Heat |
They should have actually disguised themselves as cows! |
