MY ANSWER :
Yes, 3rd class graduates can do masters program
in Unilag.
I would however counsel that if you finish with a
third class you can do one of the following first:
1. Take time to really think if that line of career is
what you REALLY want, or you were forced into it
2. If NO, then its time to change direction with a
Pgd degree- so clear your head
3. If YES, then lets plan to strengthen your
career.
Except for some rare cases, If you could not make
up to a 2.4 CGPA, there is no point getting a
masters degree until you clear your head.
Identify your strengths and passion, so as to
build a career path in that direction.
I know passion drives excellence.
A former boss made a 3rd in Elect Engineering
from UNILAG, she cleared her head and realized
that Engineering was not for her. she changed
direction and today she's an chartered
accountant with ACCA with an MBA from an IVY
school.
Standing out in accounting management!
Apart from some Professional Courses where you
required min of 2:2,, you can actually do Masters
degree directly in many other courses in Unilag.
Note however that terms and conditions applies

General ADMISSION CRITERIA
More emphasis is made on your exams score. if
you have first class, 2.1 or a graduate of Unilag
only counts if you do not meet the cut-off mark.
so to avoid stories that touch, I'll advise you as a
friend to pursue the MERIT list, which is far easy
to get into.
All you need to do is prepare very well, and start
right away. Dont put if off to some weeks before
exams, by then its too late. Trust me merit list by
then will be very hard to grab.

please can you explain the difference between Masters degree by Coursework and Professional Masters Degree.

I intend doing PG Diploma then later go for Masters but your list contains the course i’m interested in and it falls under Professional Master degree.

I’m confused , pls i need advice from you guys

2semesters make a year. Since yours is 3 semesters it means the duration is a year and half. Payments are done per year. You wil probably pay a full tuition fee for d first year and half for the remaining six months

Can someone clear me on this pls, if a programme duration is for 3 semesters is that considered as 1 session? if so, i hope the tuition fee is paid per session and not per semester.

THAT’S ALL.
Now you have a Free US phone number from Google voice.

Whenever you receive calls but you are not online, it gets forwarded to the US number which you used during google voice verification.
