Few months ago, Airtel Nigeria introduced hourly unlimited Night plan that gives its subscribers unlimited night browsing at N100 for 1HR and N200 for 2HRS. This plan has been one of the best data plan for unlimited downloading.

Well, its seems the Unlimited Hourly Night Plan is not favorable to Airtel NG, hence deem it fit to scrap the unlimited night plan and introduce another new data offer. Airtel NG have released 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50 which is valid for one night at the Hour of 12 mid-night to 5AM.

This new Airtel Midnight-Night plan which offers you 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50 looks similar to MTN Mid-Night plan which offers you same 500MB for N25. But one thing is for sure, No matter how cheap it is, you can’t compare it with Unlimited Nigh Plan.

Airtel Nigeria also introduced 1GB for N500 which is valid for 1week and N200 for 200MB + 30Min Airtel calls weekend offer and free 15mb for 7days when you recharge with N200.

After several hints about the launch date and availability about the anticipated Xiaomi Mi 5, and also a confirmation about the inclusion of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, Xiaomi has finally revealed the launch date of its flagship handset – February 24.

Xiaomi Co-Founder and Senior Vice President Liwan Jiang on Fridayrevealed the launch date on his Weibo account. More details about the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be revealed on Tuesday on the company’s MIUI forum. The forum post also includes some images showing the Mi 5 briefing event in China.

It is worth mentioning that the Chinese tech firm already confirmed plans to launch the Mi 5 flagship smartphone after the Spring Festivalearlier this month. A week ago Jiangadditionally confirmed that Mi 5 will go on sale one week after the launch.

Jiang has not specified whether theXiaomi Mi 5 will be available only in China after one week of the launch, but that seems likely following past launches. Earlier, the co-founder had revealed that the Mi 5 entered mass production and the company is making sure that there are enough units available for consumers when the phone finally launches.

Xiaomi’s Mi 5 is one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones for the company as a lot rides on thesuccess of the device. Recently, the company announced that it hadshipped over 70 million phones in 2015, which was below the company’s expectations.


Based on preliminary leaks, the Mi 5 is said to feature a 5.2-inch display with either full-HD or QHD resolution. The handset is said to come in two memory and storage versions – 3GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage. On the camera front, the Mi 5 is rumoured to pack a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also supposed to be backed by a 3600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 tech. The handset is said to run MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
