X0X0: Yes it think it's quite nice, the UI is simple and straight forward, the glassy transparency is futuristic and it's has that optimization we expected, but I hate the fact that it's only android Amazon application that will be working on it, I hope during the officially release more platform like the regular Google play store itself is included, and also more screen functionality for touch only apps...
but that's the thing though, it's more politics than features, Google wouldn't want android apps on windows, because of the fact that it'll drift way native android users, but since Microsoft was hell bent on using android apps on windows, it seems as if Amazon was the second and better option.
tensazangetsu20: A guy I know started learning UI and ux design middle of last year. He got a job paying him 4000 USD a month by January. A junior ui and UX designer. Even in Nigerian companies UI and UX designer salaries are two times that of Devs.
Realtalk20: The OS is not officially launched be careful of a law suit.
Of course it's not officially out, only the beta version.. but the announcement was made. And features highlights, as mentioned in the video, we are only discussing the upcoming features and what we think of it.
tensazangetsu20: Lol only quack designers get 10 USD. Most of the designers get very good salaries even much more than Devs. They are the lifeblood of every project especially in this age where UI and UX is extremely important.
Even junior ui and UX designers get much higher salaries than Devs when starting out. A Dev will be getting 100 to 150k. A UI UX designer will be getting 200 to 300k.
Graphic designers have become somewhat of a laughing stock in the tech industry, their work has been deemed less technical and it's annoying the hell out of me. Now a design can cost as low as $10. mehn its really that bad.
here's a video that sheds more light on the topic.. what do you think, lets hear your thoughts.
