xtabel009:Hi if you are interested in learning ccna and building labs with simulators e.g infrastructure security , sub netting, routing etc. send me a message on whatsapp for private one on one training. I have been a ccnp for over 7 years and will take you through the ccna version 3 my number is 07017840966 |

you sound better now. unetlab is still a bit buggy this is a learning forum and we are all here to learn one love |
@stynhaq, you come off as arrogant, i hope you are a ccie with all your knowledge. you said AFTER ccna pkt outlives its usefulness, well alot of people on this forum are just starting their careers not preparing for ccie you cant tell beginners NOT to use a software because you dont like it and then speak about unetlab thats in its beta form, which beginner can handle that ? I hope you know there is ASA in pkt for security and todd lammle simulators for ccna datacenter as people grow they can move on to emulators but you dont come to a public forum and tell people NOT to use a software meant for beginners just cause you say so |
@stynhaq as olummyde said, cool down. remember packet tracer was built by cisco systems and i believe they know what they are doing. i have used it to create labs for my students where they actually configure gre tunnels, hsrp ether-channels, voip, ospf multi area routing, email servers and even vpn; so how can you say it is limited for ccna ? i use gns3 when teaching ccnp stuff to my people but believe me packet tracer is a great tool if you know how to use it. |
Good day house, I have been following this thread for a while now (nice initiative DanIndia). I got my ccnp a while back and worked for a few years as a Cisco trainer. I presently do more of office 365 consulting but would like to offer my services for free classes and labbing if someone can provide a venue (I am in Lagos). I see a lot of people talking about videos, it’s one thing to watch a video and another to actually lab it out. This is meant to be a study group and since most people have internet connection issues we could meet on a Saturday and do actual labs i.e pick a topic and all work on it together. As I said I have some experience and will teach if anyone can provide a venue. What does the house think? Any suggestions can whatsapp me on 07017840966 or reply here |
