WebmastersTop 7 Social Media Influencers In Nigeria by techygeek(op): 10:02am On Mar 23, 2017
Social media Influencers in Nigeria have come a long way, from social media to content and other areas of online marketing. The role they play and the influence they exert on online users cannot be overestimated.

In Nigeria, the social media space has seen the rise and fall of several influencers; however, there are a few that have stood the test of time. In no particular order, here’s a list of 7 top social media influencers in Nigeria.

1. Funke Akindele
Although she is an actress, there is something about her that makes everything she does go viral. With several millions of followers on her social media pages, she can exert influence on as many people as she wants.

Her popular TV series, “Jenifa’s diary” led a majority of Nigerians to deliberately speak the way she does in the comical drama series. A brand with keen business eyes would gladly pick her to be their social media influencer.

2. Linda Ikeji
After recently launching her own social networking site, LIB, Linda Ikeji is in the face of most Nigerians. She is an Award winning blogger, millionaire and advocate of #selfmade women.

She has been crowned media queen several due to her specialty in local and international gossips, celebrity news and latest trends. Her blog is probably th most visited in Nigeria on a daily basis. www.lindaikeji.com

Webmasters5 Best Web Design Blogs To Follow In Nigeria by techygeek(op): 1:54pm On Mar 15, 2017
Web design blogs in Nigeria are quite a lot but very few put effort into writing informative and great content for their blogs. It’s tough not to get accurate information about something when you need it on the go. It is even more frustrating to visit a website with expectations and find nothing.
With thorough research, I have compiled a list of 5 best web design blogs in Nigeria to follow for accurate and timely information. These web design blogs have created a reputation for themselves by constantly turning out valuable information on web related issues. This list is in no particular order; I also added the pros and cons to encourage the website owners to make adjustments where necessary.

Webclick

The blog is quite informative. Although it is scarcely up-to-date, at least there are monthly updates on the website. With graphic images and videos for illustration, readers are kept entertained.

This blog also provide information on general issues.

Touchcore Limited Technologies http://www.touchcoreltd.com/website-design-company/
This website is probably one of the best I have seen by an IT firm. From the homepage to the blog, it’s hard to easily ignore it. The blog shares creative and informative posts on web design, digital marketing, branding, software development and general technological trends. With weekly updates of blog post, readers are kept abreast.

Not to be biased, the content creators need to keep up the good job.

CKDigitals
The overall user experience of the website is good. This blog is user friendly and quite easy to navigate. The content is well researched and accurate. The blog offers information on latest trends in technology especially web design and digital marketing.

However, the blog needs to be updated at least weekly; leaving a blog idle for months is bad for SEO.

Level seven
This blog is very informative, little wonder they were nominated for Best Website Development Company in 2015, same category with CKDigitals. With easy navigation and very clear graphic images, their views for each blog posts is about 2k plus. The impressive thing about their blog posts is its engagement.

Again, the website was last update sometime in 2016; this isn’t good considering the many active readers who end up disappointed over time.

Hyfig
This blog gives useful tips on how to run a successful online business. Engagement on the blog posts is also quite impressive. Like many other blogs, consistency in posting is lacking. This may turn out to be a big turn off for readers who expect to find something to read
