wallywest:So sorry about this, @Wallywest This hotspot issue, is it just for xender, or do you encounter it when you try to use the hotspot for other applications, especially browsing? If its for xender, you don't need to turn on the hotspot, xender does that automatically and has a unique way of connecting with peer devices. Hope this helps. |
koskilala:Prices may vary @Koskilala But it is between 55-60k.
|
droopyd:Please did you get your device as second hand? |
jiggar:The carlcare hub at Digital square in Ikeja should be able to assist. |
urchmanni93:Can you show a screenshot please? |
wallywest:What kind of rooting did you do on the device? |
Ibukzy:Thank you for your honest reply. All the best with using your device. |
neduedu:Hi Nedu It is mostly a hardware issue and can be resolved by speaking with our Engineers at carlcare. Would you be disposed to visit one of our centers as soon as possible? If yes, please give me your location, so I can refer you to our nearest service center. |
You can preserve your battery by reducing the onscreen time. Most people I know who use the L9 plus do not have this complaint. Check out this comment by a user.

tosinjay:This assertion is very correct, and we can only get better. Thank you Nigeria. |
urchmanni93:Have you checked your notifications bar? That's the place where you can put on your data connection, blue tooth et all? You will see where one of the icons says portrait, click on it so it shows auto rotate. That should fix the issue. Please, do you understand? |
Emmascholar:Hello Emma. Has the issue been resolved now? |
finecheek12:Sorry about this. Is it a new device that was gotten from an authorized dealer? Kindly revisit them and lodge your complaint. You can also give me details of the purchase location, so that I can make some verifications for you. |
Ibukzy:The camon c8 does not have OTG function. Or have you been using it for such activity before now? |
tgmservice:All things being equal, it is okay. Especially if you wish for it to serve as backup phone. |
tigana4u:Does this happen for all applications? Is your phone rooted? Perhaps an app you installed causes the lag? |
OHIsIManuEL:This is good to know. |
kcy:There is a carlcare rep at Nokia Homes Suite20 Zainab plaza, murtala Mohammed way opp Oando filling station, lokoja. You can call this number to confirm +234706800036 |
OHIsIManuEL:Hello, This extract from forums might prove useful. What could cause an Android phone’s WI-FI / Bluetooth to be unable to come on? Common causes of this issue include: Insufficient app permissions: The WI-FI / Bluetooth might be force-closing or unable to come on due to insufficient permissions to launch certain system level apps Corrupted apks or files: The WI-FI / Bluetooth apks or files might be missing or corrupted Third-party apps: Third-party WI-FI or Bluetooth management apps might be interfering Temporary OS error: The Android OS might have encountered a minor error Connection timeout: If no Bluetooth / Wi-FI network is detected within the set timeout (which might have been set too low in this case) then the WI-FI / Bluetooth will automatically go off Hardware: The IC might be damaged. Some fixes which have been reported to work are: are Reboot: Rebooting the phone helps clear temporary OS issues Battery pull: Remove the battery for 30 seconds then slot it back in and power up the phone. If the phone has an irremovable battery then switch off the phone for 30 seconds Reset app permissions: Go to Settings > Apps > All > Press menu button > Reset app permissions Enable GPS / Location access: Try toggling on and off location access under Settings > Location access Uninstall third party apps: Uninstall any third-party WI-FI / Bluetooth managers you have installed Factory reset: Boot the phone into recovery mode and do a data wipe / factory reset Flash a Nandroid / Clockworkmod backup: Restore the Nandroid / Clockworkmod backup of a perfectly working phone of the same model as the malfunctioning phone. (see https://journal..com/how-to-unbrick-fix-a-bricked-android-device/ ) Ensure there is actually a working WI-FI / Bluetooth nChecketwork to connect to before the connection timeout is excee ded. Check the IC hardware to be sure its in perfect working condition and change if you suspect to be faulty. We would appreciate your feedback as to whether or not, any of these fixes worked for you. |
ExInferis:No offence taken. We thank you for your time. |
LionDeLeo:Received with many thanks. |
ExInferis:As part of our efforts on digital consumer relations, I have been designated to help with issues and inquiries on Nairaland. Nonetheless, a human who is capable of free interaction is behind the moniker. I intend to be true to this public during my tine here. I get the vibes that you feel no meaningful discourse can ensue here as a result of my affiliations, I beg to differ. I have not come here to tag my brand as perfect. I am not here to buttlick either. We desire honest feedback and if we must get that, I have to be honest with the people of this forum. |
sasxy:Sadly, there is no update now. Have you thought about doing a factory reset and changing your memory card, perhaps? |
1. Must You Charge Your New Phone To Full Capacity Before Using It? Yes. If you use a Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) Battery. Fortunately, the era of NiCad is long gone. Nowadays, we use Lithium-ion based batteries which do not have “Chemical Memory” as is the case with NiCad which caused the capacity to be dependent on how it has been charged/discharged. However, it is recommended that you charge your smartphone to full capacity before using, that way you are able to determine if it has a good battery life or not after it runs down. 2. Does your battery quality deteriorate with time? Yes, your battery deteriorates over time. Some of us get phones whose battery capacities are out of this world, and then one year down the line, we begin to wonder what we must have done wrong? Lithium-ion batteries of today are built to last a certain number of cycles. You battery has peaked a cycle when it is “fully empty”. For example, if you use eighty percent of your battery capacity in one day, then charge up to one hundred percent, and use 20 percent the next day, it is assumed that for those two days, you have fully drained the juice on your battery to qualify for a cycle. Depending on the device, a battery would have to go between 300 and 500 cycles before they attain about 75% of their original capacity. 3. Will leaving my phone charging for a long time spoil my phone? Yes and No. No, because your type of battery which is more likely Lithium-ion based is equally smart and is programmed to stop current inflow once it has charged to full capacity. Under normal temperature conditions, it is safe to leave your phone charging overnight. However, if you charge in a place tht is too hot, there are chances your battery might swell up or even explode! 4. The Optimum Way Of Charging Your Device? Well a battery expert who goes by the name Shane Broesk has advised that “frequent top-ups, rather than one daily charge up, is healthier for your battery. It’s not convenient, but that’s the optimal way to charge your smartphone if you want to ensure the longest life possible.” Thank you.

beinstein:Okay. If you don't mind a question.. What do you think of the picture I posted? Does it look good to you? |
ExInferis:Apt criticism. Though I am not exactly conversant with photography jargons. However, let me ask. Don't you think the phone's camera fares well vis-à-vis the 60k (recession influenced) market price? |
Dear beinstein This picture was taken using the Canon CX Do you like the quality? cc: Exinferis
|
beinstein:Can you show us a picture you took with the device? It will be great if you can attach the Canon CX watermark, that way we will know for sure and work towards proffering a solution. Deal? ![]() |
sasxy:Let me make enquiries on this and revert to you. Is that okay by you? |
