It hurts you because i said the bitter truth. Ebonyi won't even need an airport in the next 100yrs because poverty rate in that state is so high. Most ebonyi people resident in Onitsha and parts of Anambra see the place as their home, they hardly remember that they are from ebonyi state. The State is making strives in human capital development. Ebonyi State has thousands of its youths studying outside Nigerian shores on State sponsored scholarships. The state also have achieved greatly in health sector. Infrastrural development is not even to be debated because even the blind can see that.

Ebonyi is a backward jungle filled with illiterates and poor people. Your governor has no reason to build airport. Anambra needs airport like yesterday.

Poverty level in ebonyi is over 80% while it is less than 14% in Anambra, is that the state you wanna compare to your useless worthless ebonyi state.

Anambra is the America of Ebonyi people,that's why there are more ebonyi people living in Anambra than ebonyi people living in ebonyi state.

As for IGR, Ebonyi is the least in SE, while Anambra is the highest and on top 10 nationally.

Yes, there are CAT 2 runway lighting systems and CAT 2 ILS.

I believe the video was posted in this thread a while back in case you prefer a video demo than just researching it. Obiano was right when he said the CAT 2 runway lights had runway Center lights in addition to the edge lights. CAT 1 is just the runway edge lights like we have in Enugu.

The approach lights are part of the ILS system. They are designed to enable the pilot to decide whether to land the plane or not at a certain altitude (The Decision Height). The Cat II systems enable the pilot to make that decision at a much lower altitude than the CAT 1 system. Although Lagos and Abuja airports operate CAT 2 systems, there are CAT 3 systems operated by prime international airports in London, Dubai or New York. The truth is that CAT 3 has more lights installed, but pilots have said it really doesn't provide real advantages over CAT 2. The runway just looks more beautiful because even the touchdown zone has lights in the CAT 3 system.
