@ gazzuzz luvinhubby and all, I scanned my High milage Honda Accord 2003 and I got the following codes:
P0135-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1; and
P0141-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Please what could have triggered this codes and any possible solution, although the way the car gulps fuel, you will likely call it a drunkard sha.
Suggestions and cost implications will be highly appreciated. Thank you

My S3 battery has stopped charging when ever phone is on and it starts discharging as soon as PHCN takes light. To charge it now, I need to off the phone and also quickly remove the charger as soon as PHCN takes light so that it does not discharge.....

@ melya, thanks a lot but I didn't flash any ROM. I have never dabbled into this ROM flashing thing. Is there anything else that could have caused it.

I have been using my Honda Accord 2003, 4 Cylinder for about 2 years and some months now and the millage has increased about 43000 since I started using it. The gear is fine and not giving me any problem but I keep having this feeling that the transmission oil ought to have been changed in view of the 43000 increase in millage.
Should I go ahead and change the transmission oil?
Where in Abuja can I get the original recommended DW1? and any idea of the price?
Is there a good trusted alternative to the DW1?

ZIM DRILL: there is one importan infor missing

you change the oil but you didnt tell us how many litres your engine takes, thats very important

on the oil type 5w - 20 it is for places like here in UK, let me explain the numbers on OIL TYPES a 5w-20 oil mean this --- 5w is the average morning temperature or winter temperature meaning that the oil wont freeze in 5'C temperatures therefore you will start with one kick in the morning, then the 20 represent the average day temperatures

thats why that type of oil is hard to find in nigeria simply becoz it is not meant for your climate

OIL TYPE IS THE ONE THAT IS AFFECTED BY REGION CLIMATE not THE THERMOSTAT THAT MOST NIGERIANS TAKE OFF SAYING IS FOR COLD CLIMATE

as for Malfunction Indicator Lamp and abs light get the car scanned, the code will lead you to what is wrong but for a abs light not all scan machine can do abs

I appreciate your comment but please pardon my confusion: are you then saying the manufacturer recommended 5W-20 is not good for the car in Nigeria?
But don't the manufacturers know that this cars would one way or the other find their way into this part of the world?
So which oil would you advise one to use for Honda Accord 2003?

luvinhubby: if there is no leakage, then your engine oil rings are weak, you may consider replacing the oil rings if you have a very good mechanic, but may have a problem in getting OEM piston rings as they very very scarce. As for the MIL light, that indicates that one or more of signal indicators may be bad and ABS light is for the ABS sensor that is attached to your front knuckles(the round metal that holds the tyre), one or both of them is cut or not functioning and you have to change it. As for 5W-20 Honda motor oil (Synthetic blend)with API approval seal, it`s available.

So it does not necessarily mean the engine is bad and should be changed as inferred by ping2ping.
How much are the piston rings?
Signal indicators?
ABS Sensors? and
5W-20 honda motor oil (Synthetic blend) with API approval seal?
Can you help me get OEM piston rings?
Give me an idea of how much it would cost to transport some or all of this things to me in Abuja.
Can you also recommend a good and reliable mechanic for me in Abuja abeg? If I am in Lagos, I would have preferred to come and work on it in your yard.

again but this time, I opted for Mobil 1 after trying

than going to and fro the office. I checked the oil last
week after a journey from Abuja to Akure and realize
that the oil was below the minimum gauge( I didn't actually
check it before I embarked on the journey, I don't know if
its the Mobil 1 engine oil that is not compatible with the
car.
I want to go and service the car again, please advise me
on the engine oil to use and I won't mind if anyone can
also direct me to a good auto-mechanic in Abuja.
Also does anyone know why these 2 lights should be on:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp and the ABS light, I think it
has been like that since I got the car.
Please help me before another of this Abuja trial and
error road side guys fry my pocket o.
