Our tourist visa applications was approved on 30 jul. we were in the 8.00am batch in abuja. It was fun bn interviewed by the guy in cubicle 8.. .no single document asked / checked.it was like a chat wt a friend. The ladies there were very hard nuts..they were drilling machines. Esp the one in cubicle 6 drilling and denying most people..i really want to appreciate nairaland.I read every post over a period of 4 months now. Thanks again. The transcript goes thus:

VO: Goodmorning sir, goodmorning ma

Me & wife: Goodmorning sir

VO: Why are u going to the United States

Me: For vacation

VO: where in US

Me: Orlando, Florida

VO: Where have you travelled to (Question for both)

Me: South Africa wife: Not been to anywhere

VO: Where are working

Me: Federal XXXX

VO: Thats good, what are you doing madam

Wife: A teacher

VO: High school

Wife: Yes

VO: What do you do in your Organization

Me: An IT Officer to the boss

VO: Thats seems great. How much do you earn (for both)

Me: 308.Bleep

Wife: 110.Bleep

VO: Do you have kids

Me: No

He typed for a while and later packed our passports, he now said everything seems ok and handed us a white paper, you can pick up your Visa in the next 2 working days.

It was a joyful moment.
