WELL.....SOME SCHOOL IN USA DO NOT CONSIDER THE WHOLE UNDERGRADUATE GPA THEY ONLY CONSIDER THE LAST TWO YEARS OF UNDERGRADUATE RESULT(LAST 60 SEMESTER UNIT)
So if you’re able to write good GPA of 3.0 or more on a scale of 4.0 in your last two years then you’re on good for funding Hello @skywalking and all other guru's in the house, please o, i just evaluated my CGPA using the WES GPA tool and my overall CGPA is 2.90 on a 4.0 scale Please can this fly for a fully funded schorlaship? |

I hope you aim for 340.
Good luck.
Just like he said, it's a competition, so you have to ensure you get a good score which is 100% possible. Thank you very much |

I have heard people who got full funding without taking the GRE test.
Ensure you write to the graduate coordinator and advisors in the schools you are applying to and they can even give you an application fee waiver.
But hope your GPA is high enough also get a strong reference letter and ensure your Personal Statement stands out. Avoid plagiarism, make it personal.
Good luck! Oh, thank you for letting me know this. To be on a safer place, I guess it will be nice one also have all of the basic requirements at hand before applying. |

It's either you're being lazy or funny because it seems you don't want to take the test.
No Professor will give you a fully funded offer (zero deficit I-20) in place of a better applicant that has taken the test.
Not taking any standardized tests is you deliberately limiting yourself (especially STEM applicants). The GRE is the universal equalizer.
However, if you get your visa approved with or without it, then that's all that count.
Validity: 5years. Actually sir it not like I don't want to sit for the test. Am just looking at the cost, considering my financial capacity. However, thank you for your comment. I shall take your word at heart. |

NigPatriot:
YES you can.
Firstly, how can you relate your existing masters with your intended masters? Pen this down in your Statement of purpose. A second masters is like a two edged sword it can sway in your favor and against also, depends on how you sell your story.
Notably also, try as much to evaluate your CGPA using WES, to rate it on the 4.0 scale.
Your application is holistic, so CGPA is just one of many criteria used. Ensure to have your best recommenders put in detailed word for you. Then also follow up with professors in your department - seeking funding (tell them what you can add to their existing research), and remember to apply early. Follow this guidelines and then your chances of getting funding will be greatly improved.
All the best. @Nigpatriot please when you mean apply early, like what time is the best time to start applying for schools sir? Secondly, am I to start contacting department professors after I must have gained admission into the school or before the admission comes? |
