mcolaboi: Please can anyone share thier visa application timeline. I did my Biometric on July 2 and my case received by DMC the following day but unfortunately no new updates yet. I would like to know if this is normal. Except you paid for priority service, there is no issue. It's just a week, standard typically takes 3 weeks. However, I noticed that it's faster recently (according to friends who have also done theirs). The next steps (Application transferred & received by VAC) typically happens on the same day you'd receive a collection email. Mine took like 1 week 4 days. |

BigshotAsola5: Thanks man. Did u submit the refusal letter in this regard? I had two refusals...I have one but can't find the other one. If yes, what should be done ? I did not submit the refusal letter, I just explained why I was rejected. |

BigshotAsola5: Baba which school?. Congratulations to you both. Pls, on the visa application, is it true that they only ask "if you have had a visa refusal to the UK" On the part of traveling history. Cus a friend said there is no question such as "if you have been refused visa to any other countries" on the application... How true pls. Not true, I had to declare my Ireland visa refusal. It's not just limited to the UK. |

odumessi: If you declare it to the sch, you can say bye bye to your application. Declare it to home office alone!! Una go just de talk like say una sure about everything. I had a previous visa refusal which I declared to my school and even explained why i was given the refusal. I got my CAS 3 days after application without stress. Same as my friend, she even had 2 UK visit visa refusals sef. |

BigshotAsola5: A friend of mine told me that during my school interview, if I'm asked if I have had previous visa refusal, I should say NO; in as much it was not UK. That when he did his, he said no in his visa form, though he had US visa refusal and he got the visa. However, it doesn't really matter according to his agent. That was 2021. Is it still advisable to do the same pls ? This is my second enquiry here, someone should pls respond. Thanks Not advisable. I had an Ireland visa refusal which I declared. I had no issues with my CAS (was given to me in like 3 days sef). Did my biometrics for visa on the 25th of June and I got my visa today, 7th of July. |
