Morning guys!

Pls anyone in Abuja, who did IELTS and have gotten their result? How was it delivered? Is it via post office? Will the dispatcher call before delivering it? Asking because I might not be around when its being delivered and I want to be sure to collect it myself.
I called British council to pick up my result but the agent said they stopped allowing self pick.

Yes that is where British Council account is domicile. But you can just make payment with your atm card once you have booked a date. Its faster that way.

Pls a sister of mine wants to write IELTS exam and she was told to make payment of 83k to certain standard chartered bank account but she was skeptical about it..... This is cos she just applied for a care giver job and her application was granted with sponsor visa.... But she was ask to write the exam

Pls did u pay such to any SCB either via transfer or physical payment..... Thanks

I would advise that you wait until your CoS is available before running your PoF. Your employer may tick that they will provide maintenance, which renders your PoF useless.

On the other hand, if you start counting your PoF now and CoS is yet to drop, you will have only 31 days after the completion of the 28 days to use the Statement of Account.

My advise: Be patient!

Ok guys... here is my progress since my last post.
Here is my IELTS result (It was easier than I thought, given I did not even practice at all. Just focus on the requirement of each module and be familiar with them - so that you know what you are doing at every point in the exams - you should be fine.), just waiting for police cc, picking it up on Wednesday. Unlike Alagbon, Abuja takes 3 to 5 working days get it.
Pls who has info on MFB that do proof of fund for a fee? I need to get the 28days running before getting COS so that I wont have to wait out the period before staring my visa application process.

It does not take a long time to get the tb results and police character check. However, if you are not ready for your IELTS, that my waste your time. So I would say you quickly book for the test and tell them you are preparing for IELTS, while you gather all your documents.

Probably maintenance is going on. I would advice you just keep applying, dont apply on all those urgent jobs, look for those with ongoing recruitment that welcomes application from abroad.

Below is what i did before i landed the interview... .. you DONT gotta do none of that tho... .. only my 2 cents / use your discretion..


So goin in , , I was probably (definitely) overly qualified but i only sent my CV / INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT / LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION..

I gotta tell you , , i was mad convincing in the e-mail back to them...
Told them , , in order NOT to waste much of their time, , i was sending what i got but was coming up FAST with the remainder of the documents.. . .

Cos in nigeria, , it sometimes dont go smooth as planned , , so most of them might need some time to get .. e.g , ,
IELTS ( That needs enrollment / preppin & actually sitting for the exam)
TUBERCULOSIS ( Pretty much the same, , only one/two centres running the entire country)

you dont gotta do what i did...
its different strokes for different folks.. .. . use your discretion... . . . do it ONLY like your mind tells you too..
