Westbuoi if your brother has paid the school fees and maintenance fees into your personal bank account then all need to do is print that personal bank statement after 28 days that the funds have being in the account to add to your visa application.
You do not need any sponsor's letter or payslips from him anymore.
You are required to obtain a sponsor's letter in addition to a birth certificate only when your parents are sponsoring you and you intend to use their personal bank statements as proof of funds.

However I would like to reiterate that the Tier 4 Migrant Guidance gives guidelines on acceptable bank accounts and it states that only your parents, international company and your country's government can be your sponsor.
However other ways you can show your funds are.

1. Your personal bank account statement with the funds held for a minimum of 28 days.
2. A joint account with your name as one of the account holders (that is not just being a signatory to the joint account) and the funds held for a minimum of 28 days.

Please I would like to know if you included photocopies of your original documents when you made your Visa Application.,

I included all my Original documents which I used to get the admission and as stated in my CAS when I sumitted my Visa Application at VFS(Abuja).
However, someone told me a few days ago that I am equally expected to submit in addition to my original documents photocopies of each document and I would like to know if this information is correct.

Justwise and Co in the House can anyone confirm if photocopies of your original documents are a mandatory requirement to be included when submitting your Application package.

I submitted my Tier 4 student application recently and I just have some questions to ask.
1. Anyone who got his/her Student Visa this month should pls help me with the current processing time for Tier 4 student applications in BHC (Abuja).

2. I included original documents as stated in my CAS, my personal Bank Statement from GTB, Oanda conversion print-out for the closing balance sum in my Statement in my Visa Application, however I forgot to include the photocopy of each of these documents and I would like to know if I have made a very big error or the photocopies are for your personal record purposes.

Thank you Justwise for your comments on my post. Yes I do agree that some people and especially the BHC will find it hard to believe that the department does not have a landline telephone number but that is the honest truth as not all university in Nigeria has the luxury of having Landline telephone in all their departments. However the Head of the Department is willing to include his mobile phone number on the Letter to facilitate the verification of the certificate and that is why i am seeking the opinion of any successful applicant who made use of a letter from their department containing mobile phone numbers for contact and degree certificate verification and not landline phone numbers so that i can go ahead to add the letter.

I have collected a letter from my department for the verification of my degree certificate and this letter has the full postal mailing address of the university and department, however the department did not include a telephone number as the department does not have one.

Please I want to know if the Head of Department can include his personal mobile phone number on the letter or the letter from the department with the full postal mailing address will be suffice. This is because I do not know if the BHC prefers to call or write to the department for verification.

I have taken a good look at my certificate and what is on it is just my University Name, University Logo, Motto, Location and all my personal details and my Degree classification, Degree course, Award Date etc.
There is nothing like contact information on the certificate and with this development what do you suggest i do to ensure that my Degree Certificate can be verified by the BHC.

Hello Everyone.
Please I need your advise.

I will be submitting my Student Application next week and I will like to know if it is ok to submit my Tier 4 Student Application without a Letter from the Department in the University I graduated from here in Nigeria, This is because I have my original Degree Certificate from the University. Also I would like any successful Tier 4 Student Visa Applicant to please list the documents He/She submitted in their successful student visa application.
