Everybody knows that in Zamfara states. So, to defeat the bandits in that state, they need to work with the indigenes of the state because people know them, and they give bandits information on the around the state. Most of the People in the state are informants for the bandits, life in Zamfara state is lowlife key, if you have money, you need to lower yourself because of the informat of the bandits |
helinues:North West have people represented them in the govt, if they can't fight for the development of their region, that's there problem. At least the former president was from North West and he did many projects in North West especially Kastina state, so that's ok for them, let them manage that for the next 8 years. At least the present government is trying on the insecurities of the region unlike the last government and if the government can succeed in the insecurities of the region, that is ok for them than any other projects |
KGBcanada:You can go into groundnut storage but time to store has passed, maybe the next harvest period |
This is not true. North West also has some projects going on there too. The Zaria road - Zamfara - Sokoto is dualized by the federal government, and the project is still going on; even with the atrocity of bandits that kidnapped and killed those construction workers on that road, the project hasn't stopped Also, Kano to Maradi road in Niger Republic is going on. Abuja to Kaduna Road is there and it will soon completed The dry port in Kastina state was also completed by the federal government Also, there is a project by the federal government along Mariri Road in Kano state. And many more projects |

Asquare84:Thks He wants to scam me or what? Because he is not asking me for money, please explain how they used the format for scanning |
Please I need advice. I got a call from one of my customers who came to my place in Kano to buy grains three or four years ago. He called me on Monday, and he explained how he came to Kano at my place for grains because I didn't remember again until when he explained. He said he has relocated to Lagos and is working with a telecommunications company as an engineer He told me that he has a brother who wants to buy land for building of a hotel in Kano state and that he will give his brother my number so that he will call me, I said no problem. Later in the day, his brother called me, and he explained what he was selling and who he was working with, that his boss was in abroad and sending electronics to Nigeria, and he was in charge of his brother's business. To short the story, he said he needed land in Kano for a hotel and that I should help him to get the land. I told him that I don't deal with land, my business is a grains business, and that I would help him inform those estate agents in Kano. So that they would help him. He told me that if I got it, his brother, who knows me, would come to Kano for inspection, and he would make payment; I said ok. He said his budget for the land is 100m. Today now, he called me that he heard that his brother is coming to Nigeria this week and he wants to remove the money from his account to someone account I should help him get the bank account that can contains 170m today and I told him to let me talk to those people that wants to sell the land maybe they can send their account. Since this morning, I have been thinking about how someone who wants to buy land without inspection will send that huge of money, so I sense a red flag. My question is, if he eventually sends his brother to inspect the land and make payment from another account that is not from his account, am I in trouble for helping them to connect them to the estate agents in Kano if anything happens in the future.? |
Abuja - Kaduna road is very safe to pass now; no more attacks by bandits on that road again. Every 1 to 2 km of the road you will see our security operatives secure the road. I witnessed many attacks on the road when Buhari was the president of the country. There was an attack that I almost kidnapped by bandits My experience of how I was almost kidnapped by terrorists along the Abuja - Kaduna road on my way to Kano in March 2022 1. Being the experience I have with attacks on the road, whenever I wanted to travel, I used to sit in the front seat, the reason is that I used to prepare my mind before I traveled that anytime I encountered a bandit on the road, I would use the opportunity of sitting at the front to escape. 2. I woke up early on that day from Ibadan to Kano Park, on my way, one customer sent some money to me for the market, and the money delayed my time to the park, on gotten to the park, the first seat has been occupied, I have no option than to seat on third row of the bus. 3. Whenever I wanted to travel, I used to send my wife on WhatsApp, those who owned me market and those I owned market, their phone no, the quantity of bags, etc., because I knew that traveling to the north at that time was very risky. 4. we reached Abuja at 3 am on second day, there was a filling station after the Dikko junction where those buses used to buy fuel, and after the fuel, they used to continue their journey in convoys because of the bandits. 5. Our bus was the one that led the convoy, after about 10km journey, we heard gunshot from the bush that targeted our driver, the gunshot hit the driver on the right hand, and the second gunshot hit the lady beside the driver and her hand condemned, the third gunshot hit the driver at the head but not enter his head but attached his head. 6. After the third gunshot, the driver couldn't drive the bus again, so the driver opened the door and ran away; the passenger beside the door opened our door also, and everybody scattered for their safety. 7. Unfortunately for us, we were surrounded by bandits; I was followed by one bandit with a gun in his left hand and a torch light in his right hand. 8. Almost 8 buses were surrounded by bandits at the same time; some people were killed, and some people were badly injured by gunshots. The bandit that followed me picked me up when I fell down because the guy "na usain bolt" 9. After he picked me up when I fell down, he shouted at me and spoke the Fulani language, the only thing I heard in his language was 'mallam" "mallam.' he was leading me to the bush, and I got another opportunity to run again, he ran after me and picked me up because I couldn't match his running. I did it for the third time when I got the opportunity to escape. 10. After I attempted for the third time to escape, a woman was coming toward us because it was dark and the woman couldn't run because she was very fat, the bandit left me alone and ran towards that woman, he wanted to use the opportunity to kidnap both me and the woman but fortunately for me, I got the chance to run away before he came back. 11. The Army and police arrived at the venue, but they couldn't face this bandit, so they ran. 12. Our driver and some other passengers were rushed to a hospital in Kaduna for treatment before I left the scene on that day |

Celestialsword:The Almajiri system in the north is not part of the Islam. |
All these can't solve the problem in the north, mopping the children is not the solution. The solutions are: 1. The North should stop bringing innocent children into the world if you know that you can't cater to them 2. The government should make it compulsory for the citizens in the state not to allow those children in their street 3. The government should make a law that will stop housewives from using those children as a houses help in their various houses 4. The government should bann almajiri system in the north. |

From my personal experience with numerous attacks by bandits, passing through Lagos - Oyo - ilorin- Mokwa - Abuja is much safer than passing through Akure/Ekiti - Lokoja -Abuja. The most dangerous route now is Ekiti/Akure to Lokoja, so travelers should be very careful on that route. For those that are coming from South South or South East to Sokoto state, the fastest route to Sokoto is Abuja - Zaria - Funtua - Gusau - Sokoto, and the most very dangerous route is from Funtua - Gusau - Sokoto. Travelers should be very careful on that route, especially at night. The attack by bandits is very minimal in the day due to roadblocks by security operatives but very dangerous at night. Even there is a curfew on that route from 6 pm - 7 am. If you're traveling to that route and your driver reaches Zaria in the evening time, please don't allow the driver to move further, or you can come down from the bus because some drivers are very stubborn. One of the most dangerous roads before was Abuja - Kaduna, but our soldiers have taken over the road, no more bandits attack on that road |

The Federal Government has suspended the ban on mining activities in Zamfara State five years after the sanction was imposed. The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, made this known in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.https://dailypost.ng/2024/12/22/nigerian-govt-lifts-ban-on-mining-in-zamfara-after-five-years/

@Cassie74 There are many types of mudu in each state; which of the mudu are you talking about? Moreover, painter rubber is generally known in every state. |
