doesn't clippers causes bumps to, I usually have bumps at the back of my head after a visit to the salon, though it's temporary but won't it have same effect on bearded areas?

Pls guys, I need help, just recently I started growing beard ,I hate beards with passion so I never let even a single strand remain on my chin by shaving regularly with typical shaving stick, I started noticing bumps in the shaved area, bumps that don't go away, please anyone with idea on how to prevent them, they are very irritating and I hate them..
