SpaceX on tuesday, lifted founder Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster into space on a successful first test flight of the Falcon Heavy rocket.

The Falcon Heavy is the largest space rocket launched since NASA’s Saturn V in the 1970s.

To add a dummy load in a test flight as done traditionally, Musk and his company decided that the rocket will carry an original Tesla Roadster with a SpaceX suit-wearing dummy in the driver’s seat and selected David Bowie tracks playing in loop.

The self-proclaimed spiritualist was paid over $3.5m by an elderly customer seeking exorcism.

An unregistered psychic was last week sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion on over $3.5 million that she was paid by an elderly Massachusetts woman seeking to cleanse herself of demons.

Sally Ann Johnson, 41, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Denise Casper in Boston, M.A who ruled that tendered evidence showed that the psychic took advantage of the old woman after she began to suffer from dementia.

“There is a strong inference of fraud here,” Judge Casper said in her ruling.

The Judge ordered Johnson to refund the woman about $3.57 million she received between 2007 and 2014 and also pay $725,912 in restitution to the U.S. government for the taxes she evaded.
Johnson, who called herself a Romani “spiritual consultant,” tendered a guilty plea in October, 2017 for impediment to tax laws administration and apologized for her misconduct.

To evade tax scrutiny, Johnson used an alias, directing the woman to make payments to three different bank accounts and withdrew large sums of cash to conceal fund source.

President Trump has asked the Pentagon to explore holding "a celebration" for Americans to show their appreciation for the armed forces, the White House said, amid reports that military leaders have begun planning a military parade at his request.

Trump repeatedly has expressed an interest in holding a display of America’s military might and upped his calls for a parade after witnessing the Bastille Day celebrations on a trip to France last summer.

The Washington Post reported Tuesday that at a recent meeting between Trump and top military officials, Trump’s wishes were “suddenly heard as a presidential directive.”

“The marching orders were: I want a parade like the one in France,” one military official told the Post on the condition of anonymity. “This is being worked at the highest levels of the military.”

A White House official told the Post that the planning was still in the “brainstorming” stages, and that there is “no meat on the bones” as of yet.

“President Trump is incredibly supportive of America’s great service members who risk their lives every day to keep our country safe. He has asked the Department of Defense to explore a celebration at which all Americans can show their appreciation,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement Tuesday night.

White House chief of staff John Kelly is reportedly involved in the planning of the parade. Pentagon officials are pushing for the parade to be tied to Veterans Day, rather than Independence Day or Memorial Day, because it would appear to be less tied to Trump.

Officials told the Post that they do not yet know how they will cover the cost of the parade, which could reach millions of dollars.

Trump reportedly wanted to include tanks and missile launchers in his Inauguration Day parade. An inauguration team source said at the time that the team was “legit thinking Red Square/North Korea-style parade.”

Military officials were reluctant about the inauguration team’s desires, and the team ultimately decided not to move forward.

He then told French President Emmanuel Macron that he was considering having a military parade on Independence Day, saying that he wanted “a really great parade, to show our military strength.”

Presidential historians told The Washington Post that a parade “smacks of something you see in a totalitarian country,” and also warned that it could evoke nationalism instead of patriotism or could even stoke further tensions with North Korea.

The White House official pushed back on those warnings, saying it would be “the opposite” of totalitarian, because it would be a “celebration of the men and women who give us freedom,” but also said it would be designed as a demonstration of America’s strength and a “warning” to the country’s enemies.

A Dublin hotel has banned social media stars after a 22-year-old YouTuber requested for a five-night free stay and broke down in tears when she was bluntly refused.

Elle Darby, a UK-based social media influencer, with 87,000 YouTube subscribers and 76,000 Instagram followers, contacted the owner of The White Moose Café, Paul Stenson, asking if he was interested in a “possible collaboration.”

In an email to the Dublin hotel owner, Darby wrote: “I work as a social media influencer, mainly lifestyle, beauty & travel based.”

“My partner and I are planning to come to Dublin for an early Valentine’s Day weekend from Feb 8th to 12th to explore the area.”

“As I was searching for places to stay, I came across your stunning hotel and would love to feature you in my YouTube videos/dedicated Instagram stories/posts to bring traffic to your hotel and recommend others to book up in return for free accommodation.” she added in the mail while also including her social media reach.

Stenson publicly responded to Darby’s request on The White Moose Cafe Facebook page in a post that read:

“Dear Social Influencer (I know your name but apparently it’s not important to use names)”

“Thank you for your email looking for free accommodation in return for exposure. It takes a lot of balls to send an email like that, if not much self-respect and dignity.”

“If I let you stay here in return for a feature in a video, who is going to pay the staff who look after you? Who is going to pay the housekeepers who clean your room?”

“The waiters who serve you breakfast? The receptionist who checks you in? Who is going to pay for the light and heat you use during your stay?

“Maybe I should tell my staff they will be featured in your video in lieu of receiving payment for work carried out while you’re in residence?”, Stenson added.

“P.S. The answer is no.” the message concluded.

The owner however, went on in a later post to ban all social media influencers who might consider staying at his hotel.

Parents of students in Delhi public schools will have real-time access to CCTV footage of classrooms on their mobile phones, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal announced.

Each parent will be given a unique id to log into a mobile app the government is developing for its schools in the Indian capital. CCTV footage will be live streamed on the app.

“The mobile app is still being developed. It will allow parents to see live CCTV footage of their child’s classroom. Parents should know the classroom number of their child in and they can access footage of that room,” an official of the education department said

The app will also have a complaint feature. “If parents spot anything wrong and want to complain, then they can use the app to register it. The issue will be addressed by officials from the department concerned,” the official added.

Kejriwal, last week disclosed that the process to install the CCTVs in schools will start in three months.
