For anyone experiencing this itching or worm movement over the body, my advice is for you to take record of all the drugs used in treating you - be it orthodox or herbal medicine. This record will be useful to any new doctor you encounter to help him/her solve your problem. Some of the ointment used by others having similar experience to relieve itching include:

(1) Benzyl Benzoate - Moko or Nomagbon Product.
(2) Permethrin

Sorry for the pain you have being through. There are quite a number of persons who are undergoing similar condition like you in this country. It is so unfortunate that the medical profession in Nigeria have not lived up to its responsibility. They wait for the White Man to diagnose a new ailment that is found in Nigeria, coin a name for it and then develop a drug or vaccine that can eradicate the sickness. Majority of Nigerian medical scientist have refused to act like their counterpart in India who acknowledge the efficacy of their traditional medicine and then work with pharmaceutical experts to see how they can create a novel drug that will handle diseases that are peculiar to people from their country. Thus, we have more imitators and less innovators as medical practitioners. Many of the doctors may go as far as passing blame on you for not achieving a positive result on the treatment they prescribed for you.

Because of the nature of our country and its medical field, you have a big role to play in eradicating this sickness from your body. You must brace up for the challenges ahead. My first advice is for you to take record of every medicine be it orthodox or herbal drug that have been administered to you right from the day you started treating yourself against this disease. Please, I need you to explain in details the symptoms of the sickness before I can proceed.

I developed the staphylococcus infection last year through toilet I life has been so terrible for me.

I have been battling with constant headache, fatigue and shortness of breath, and a worm like movement in my body for a long time. Sometimes I feel numbness on the part of my body and it's really affecting me. My boss has been complaining about my incompetence at work and it's possible I lose my job if things continue this way

I've gone to several hospitals and spend a lot of money to conduct series of test after which blood culture revealed I have a heavy growth of Staphylococcus Aureus.

I took the result to a doctor and he prescribed Pefloaxin for me and I also took five injection to flush this bacteria and it seemed like I was getting out of the bond of this bacteria until the symptoms returned back few weeks later.

I decided to resort to Nairaland because most of the doctors I've gone to are incompetent, and I don't want to take too much antibiotics so that my body will not become resistant to it.. The way this staph is affecting me is becoming unbearable. I can't sleep or breath well

Someone suggested I go to general hospital since they seem to be more experienced but all na the same. They are always too much in a hurry to attend to patients and prescribe drugs.


Please if you have treated this stubborn infection before, how did you manage to cure it completely? Did you use drugs or herbs?

I know many carriers of this bacteria normally get scammed by online advertisers and I know they will flood this thread with their fake herbal drugs. Please I need you to come to my aid and don't look for a way to swindle money from me with ineffective drugs

OP Pls let me know if you made any progress in handling this ailment. I have seen the attitude of some standard general hospitals and specialist skin care hospitals in Nigeria towards this sickness with the symptoms of worm-like movement in the body.
