Sir Choose4me, what's up? When did you write your MTNF test last year and how difficult was it? On what basis was the shortlist for screening and that for award made? When was the award ceremony? What type of questions were asked, I mean subjects. Can I confidently walk to the exam hall give that I study the GMAT past questions well? Please, help clear the air, there are a host of MTNF peeps in here, give we Aspirants hope. Thanks..

Heard alot about it, our seniors have over hyped it sef.
Dem say the thing hard. Haven't really carved out time during this short break for it sha. I've just been familiarizing myself with the Topic via Internet sources. I want to develop a massive interest for it before school begins. So, when people keep complaining about the course, the passion I've developed would keep driving me.

Lol, "From" in there serves more like an affirmation to whom something is expected. Although, "to" was obviously in the maxim. Just think of it bro, "from" really works. As in, talking about the subject in question, say we're expecting an end result from him/her, thus the preceding from. Like, since we have given Mr. Sve.en alot, (from sveen), we're expecting alot. It's more of a bypass. Don't interpret it like "from whom much...," just think of the from as being needed for the "...much is expected part"




I'm just beating around the bush sef, but I know it's correct sha. English sef, you know something but at times really can't tell why it is. That's why i so love Mathematics. For every block of jargons, there's a proof!

One even opened a thread showing his results.
He had 8A's and 1B.
Another had 7A's and 2B's.
Altho that was in their first semester, how come someone else became the scholar and not either of them?
I wanna believe that there's actually no way you can drop after attaining such feat in first semester.

Anatomy's scholar is the 11th best in the class. The first ten must have crossed to MedSurg.

Maybe because I know better, I think one of the reasons for not attaining the "scholar" position should be because of "her" carefree attitude to education. When "she" changes, the sky becomes the limit.

Any, on a more serious note, I'm actually 0.0something behind the New scholar. The returning scholar and I almost had a tie. It was a very narrow win for the new scholar sha. The first five in my department are actually in a range of 0.06 ahead of each other (all between 4.49 to 4.43. My political scientist, Tobishills12, knows better.

uxomykaz, dude, I saw your question on that MTNF thread. As for me, I'm going to still use 200Level, even if I'm now in 300Level.
Reason: These MTNF guys are looking for the most possible ways to screen us. So, I think, this might just be a trap for the few that would fall for it. BTW, when is the deadline to fill the form? Saw someone saying 30th of October, I never saw such on my mail.

Going by common sense, I think it's totally absurd, uncalled for and rather, a show of possession, the discussion of issues that are utterly irrelevant to the supposed aspirants. Literally, it would do some good to realise that aspirants are a group of people who long to spend some agreed years Within the confines of the academic enclave, thus, the naivety of most of them is rather undefined. They're eager to know the modus operandi therein, even if its obvious, with time, they'll get acquainted with campus happenings; save for a few of them who have perhaps being around the citadel. Don't you think discussing campus happenings may directly or indirectly spur their looming post utme exams? This is psycholgical. Discussing the previous semester examination performance here is just a monumental time wastage, and an aberration from the purpose of the thread. No doubt, the aspirants have played a crucial role in the status quo, the stalites ought to be issue-based. As regard the crave for page number, I'll say it's just some infantile tantrums, utter fiddlestick and an act of juvenile delinquency—which I wouldn't want to believe, since I assume everyone here is an adult.
To the aspirants, I opine you just take solace in the Chinese apothegm, ''softly softly catchee monkey.''

[color=#FF3300]Faculty of Engr/Tech got some real crazy badoo students ooo. Out of 69 total first class graduates of 14faculties...dis single faculty churned out 10 first class graduates... with a whooping 6coming from Elect/Elect Engr dept....Damn!!!

It's good news We're now having less Saddist lecturers at Unilorin.


To think that Civil engineering that produced the best graduating student from Engineering(Emmanuella—yes! a female) last year had no single first class student this year. Whoops! They had at least Five or six first class students last year. Only God knows what went wrong this year.

CHE: 2(Quite unbelieveable though, we were all expecting one, until this guy popped up).
Respect to all the MCBites in the house, they churned out eight! When I thought I've seen it all. I'm sure STA would also produce a minimum of eight.

I'm happy our lecturers are now taking pride in Churning out FC students. It's still an infinitesimally Negligible figure though, but it's encouraging compared to the 90s.
