Stop judging yourself. I only told you how you exhibited one of their signs. This is a public forum. Please save me all this. Bye. |

HAkorehdeh: Well, i don't blame you. You've been nurtured to be adamant, pigheaded, and stubborn. I will only advise you to start learning now with no bias, having no hidden notion against any sect. You have to get this too "mainstream sunni is different from salafism (which you ignorantly referred to as sunni)". Read about many sunni scholars who wrote about Ibn taymiyah and Co. I'm not here to badmouth any scholars anyways, "i've got many scholars likewise no scholars " cuz i don't blind follow.
@bolded, that's way too harsh.I know you're a salafist, Is that how you were taught?? So pathetic!
The problem is the name 'sufi', it shouldn't have been referred to as that, plus the many crazy sects(and followers) it has got nowadays . Sufism is purely ihsan Islam ! Go read about ihsan Islam (with no bias). Simple!
You're funny anyways. and you feel I blindly follow? Smh. Aayaatul khawaarij(signs of the khawaarijist). Keep it up. |

HAkorehdeh: A lot of bogus people say about the sufis. Lies, pretence, hypocrisy, and deceit everywhere. provide a prove of Sufism in the Kitaab or Sunnah and I'ld renounce Islam. Yes, that's how Sure I am you would never come up with an evidence. Sufism is Bid'ah, all Bid'ah Is an act of wrongdoing, and all wrongdoing would lead to Hell. May Allah save us from this. Aamiin |

They are among the salafu-s-salih (The righteous predecessors). Unlike the handful of ''Bid'ah'' ''shaykhs'' we find these days, they never gave nor collected any Nokalis. Ma'a salam. Sorry guys for derailing from the purpose of the thread. |

littleboysod: Patience does not mean to passively endure. It means to be farsighted enough to trust the end result of a process. What does patience mean? It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn. Impatience means to be so shortsighted as to not be able to see the outcome. The lovers of Allah never run out of patience, for they know that time is needed for the crescent moon to become full. rkarang: Meanwhile, Folks with good grades have great potentials if they manage information about opportunities...
Don't get silly ideal in school, many regretted doing so, thinking that "this this this..." Remember that what is worth doing is worth doing well. Some learnt "hand-work" and become successful, some start business and make huge profit, and some attend schools and become great. Everybody has his/her own interest... If education favours you, good luck; if not, better luck...
In case you're here and you're dreaming of becoming a scholar, don't let anyone discourage you; education also pays in big time.
End of Story, End of Discussion RKARANG, Seriously, I am an advocate of good grades. PM Me if you wantto know about my academic standing. I'm not an advocate of illiteracy. You could as tobishills12 and Seyikp. They know me too well. I love education. What I hate too much, is Mindless studying and cramming. Which undoubtedly you kn0w, is the order of the day. This rubbishes the purpose of learning and education in its totality. I wish you could understand my point and general ideology. |

Nobody have an inkling of what the future holds, grammatical dexterity or academic prowess does not guarantee greatness. As far as you are on the right path, Only God can. Abi oo. So much Chukwuemeka at alaba, Sylvanus at Odunade and Chukwudi at Ladipo are making cool cash without these two stuffs you mentioned, I see no cause for the unnecessary hype. |

Finally sir Rkarang; we know being fluent is the first thing Nigerian's use in judging a person's academic Level. Not those principles of bus admin u do at your dept. At least, for the first time, you wouldn't need Bus. Admin's story. You'd only need it subsequently if the second party takes interest in it. Summarily, the first thing that would make me respect you if and I meet on the road is your use of English and not how perfect you are at solving the four Maxwell's equation. That is subsequently. |
Education › Re: Unilorin Utme 2015/2016 Aspirants by Temmi001: 2:35pm On Sep 29, 2015 |
Sir Rkarang, I think the inability to express oneself appreciably well in English, is fundamentally disgraceful. Forget about school grades. I bet you--although I don't advocate for job hunting--a higher portion of the reason why our employers maintain that our graduates are unemployable rallies around their use of English and general versartility. Could you imagine yourself a CEO Of a multinational company that would hardly address his BoT In a conference? Isn't this abysmally demeaning? If you're familiar with political happenings, would you hear those respective National representatives throw out literal tantrums during Several assemblies, say the just concluded UN Assembly. It's annoying when I hear people say ''scientists and Engineers shouldn't be involved in English things and writing''. How fallacious. Haven't we read of such scientist s as Einstein that even took literature a personal interest. Well, all these are just a result of the celebration of mediocrity(mindless learning, eg cramming nd jacking for just grades nd n0t to learn new stuffs) in Nigeria's educational system. |

rkarang: You haven't met the correct ones. Those ones don't make mouth, you will barely know them until their results pop out.
They actually have fewer chances of getting admission in UNILORIN, partly because UNILORIN does not request for their transcripts... If you see them for OAU, UI, UNILAG, where they're admitted based on transcripts; you go fear fear...
Though I couldn't get admission via DE, I'm one of them Rocking UIL like Kilode. If you like believe...
By the way, the use of English has nothing to do here.
Truth be told, corruption is on the high side at Polytechnic-Seriously high; however, if you pass through the process without cutting corners and make 4+ (depending on d scale), university academic work won't be a hard nut for you to crack.
Ask Torilo
Cc:Torilo All said, you don't need this, because you just did. You don't need to tell me you're rocking, Seriously, I would know. Intelligence is far beyond classroom performance, it also extends to interpersonal relationship and redefined varsatility. You didn't get it, DE Peeps are a fundamental hype, talking about fearing them is a day-light joke. So Much as Newton's Mathematical principles of Natural philosophy holds good here and all around the word, and 1+1 still add to 2, then there'd be no basis for the hype. And talking about the use of English; in so far it remains our Lingua Franca, then, the first test of intellectual sagacity remains the ability of a people to express themselves in clear terms, at least, to a level of literal appreciation. I hope you understand? |
