This is one of the reasons I always encourage our youths to try and be enjoying vacation abroad amd attend conferences. You will never get tired or feel bored when madam don go meet her pikin abroad or anywhere. This is inevitable, na so nature make am. So that you'd have a robust travel experience and you can visit usa, Canada etc for summer, see friends etc. By the time you're back home, you'd feel like traveling again. You can branch and see your children and their mama join. That's a good life. You can build one for yourself. Don't procrastinate saying future, future, future. The future starts when you hit 25 years, after which your years will start running per minutes. Because at that time, your eyes are open, you begin thinking of career, family etc so you'd not know when the time is gone.

When some guys hit their first money, they'd go and buy cars instead of building a future. I had money to buy 2 cars at the time I first travelled to the USA early 2000 for the first time. Flight Ticket was 375k. If I added 900k to that, I'd buy a brand new Kia Rio. It was my first visa on a virgin passport and travel experience. Today, no need to stress myself on visa to the glory of God. My passports are piled up. I pray till I grow old I'd still be enjoying this privilege. They now give 5 years while Canada can samma you woth 10 years visa if you have up to 10 years validity passport. Life is so sweet if you make it so. It's always challenging too. Planning is key....very key and your old age won't be a mess.

When ever you are talking about population of a nation, you count the population as a group of generation e.g Gen Z, Gen X . etc not individually. We are not as many as you think when grouped. A single generation can go extinct Within a period of 5-10 years. Meaning 2-5 million people wiped out at a shorter timeframe.

For example: prof. Soyinka is 90 and I can bet that at one point his generation were considered many but where are they now? Within a short period of time his generation were wiped out. Couple with the fact that this present generation are no getting married compare to older generation which means there will be a decline in population as time goes on. Nature will take care of everything.

When it comes to population Nigeria is the highest in Africa which is around 220 million. The effect of this over population is really showing due to mismanagement of our resources there by giving rise to food shortage, increased demand for food and increased conflicts. I would rather suggest the national assembly should create a law to regulate child birth. When you compare our minimum wage to other African countries Nigeria is the lowest which makes me wonder why we are called the giant of Africa. Over the past decades this country have witnessed a steady decline in our economy and exponential increase in our population, so by the year 2080 Nigeria's population will be twice the size we are at the moment. If we can't manage our resources we need to manage our population. I was hoping the federal would conduct another census to determine the exact number we are in this country.

Dude, I've met many of them here in Lagos. Once they are sent to the East for NYSC, they immediately begin to process a transfer back to Lagos claiming that they don't like the East, a place they have never visited before. I hope they are released safely but I'm so happy they weren't kidnapped in any Eastern state. In the first thread a clown was rejoicing that the people kidnapped were Igbos running away from the East to the South West, I hope he doesn't die of heart blood pressure after seeing that it was his fellow Southwesterners that were kidnapped in the South West.

With so much resources wasted and looted into private pockets, Lagos should be much more developed than it presently is. Lagos is a signpost to to how poorly developed other cities in Nigeria are. With faeces everywhere, horrible roads and very poor (but highly unaffordable electricity), poor water, poor hygiene, insecurity, etc, when will the Nigerian leaders allow Nigerians live good lives. It is the same story from South to north of the country. All madness.

I visited a friend at Okokomaiko some years ago. As we were going to my car, we saw one mama put and decided to eat hot fufu and egusi soup.
