Executive Assistance/HR

As the Executive Assistant you will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high performance team by proactively planning for and executing on all HR support needs; provide a high-level of administrative support with the utmost professionalism. To achieve this, you'll use advanced administrative skills, and handle personal contacts with finesse and diplomacy. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide advanced administrative support to the CEO
Responsible for understanding the scope and content of ongoing programs management team is involved in and assisting where necessary while prioritizing and managing multiple assignment simultaneously to ensure follow-through on issues in a timely manner
Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external senior executives and their assistants, as well as third party stakeholders and industry partners to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings and large scale events

Apply superior analytical skills to screening of routine and highly confidential responses to incoming mail, email, telephone calls and messages.
Track external vendor/consultant contracts/billing/payment . Route documents through internal process and obtain necessary signatures in a timely/efficient manner
Develop and maintain a confidential, centralized filing system, which is linked to computer network filing structure
Coordinate and schedule high-level business meetings and direct reports (and others as assigned)
Process expense reports ensuring timely submission and accuracy
Collaborate with internal parties at all levels to gather information and prepare reports as per the executives needs

EDUCATION

B.Sc. Business Administration, Economics, Human Resource Management and other social science programs

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

Minimum 2 years of related professional experience supporting senior-level management, preferably within global, matrix organizations.
High Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Just last week Monday,I went for an interview somewhere around surulere.we were 6guys that went for the interview.and the woman said she needed just one person for the position. She called me on that same Monday night to resume tomorrow for the job,but unfortunately I had an urgent travel the next day being Tuesday.I told her that I was actually on my way travelling. I begged her to give me till Friday so I'd return and resume,she accepted. I was keeping her updated with calls and sms.Then when I returned on Friday,i called her, she asked me to leave it till Monday to resume.on Saturday i sent her a happy weekend msg and asked after her family?then she called me back and said to me "don't you think u re bigger than this job u applied for"? I want to give u something more befitting than that position u applied for, she asked,"can u work as my personal assistant and also be the coordinator of my company"? Wow! My head swells. Immediately I grabbed it and started thanking her and God..she said she wanted to advertise it on Nairaland for the position of her personal assistant and coordinator,but her spirit accepted me and with the rate at which i usually communicate with her always and with respect made her to see me as an idle person for the position...because she believe in communication... That just how I got the job o and I have resumed today..she also promised that in four-five months time she'll make sure I get a company car.
