This story reminds me of a book by James Hadley Chase. A man assured his life with his wife being the beneficiary. The lady found out and automatically wished him death. She went every length to kill him and finally did. Though the clause on the contract prevented her from getting the compensation. So after reading that I realized it not so good a decision to embark on such journey. Your spouse might have other plans. Remember some couples are bonded by selfish interest or mere circumstance not necessarily love. |
You just said you contributed over 60%, might be true or maybe a way to get readers on your side. That's bytheway. Now the truth is, no man uses his wife as next of kin (especially if he wants to have his family going even after death), no doubt he can will some properties to her. From the questions which you're yet to reply to, I assume you don't have a child yet, then if that's the case don't expect to be his next of kin of highest beneficiary of his property. Naturally we trust our siblings more than anyone else except in cases when they have done things that killed that trust. So his brother is the best bet for a next of kin when he hasn't got a kid yet. |
On a second thought, have you carried out a DNA test to verify if that boy is truly ours? You never can tell, there could be a stronger bond btw your wife and the man in question than what you think. Just give it a thought, you won't regret doing. |
You're considering the feelings of your son (which is quite commendable) but you aren't considering the harm you're doing to yourself. Things are gradually falling apart, emotional trauma, its also affecting you psychologically and professionally. If its not put in check it might go so bad that you loose it. If all you need to have your life back is seperation, then I advice that. Your son will grow to understand provided you give him the best life you can afford |
HopeAtHand:Seeing Rihanna in your list of beautiful damsels made me realize you know not what beauty is |
Not quite sure if Fashola was trying to exaggerate the numbers, but the truth is the president's visit causes lots of security lapses. I witnessed his visit sometime ago in Imo state. All the forces were deployed at very locations from the as far as Onitsha Owerri road to the Imo airport. In my opinion, he has his security network/personnel, he should work with it and little of the state's security and not taking upto 40% of them and living the citizens at the mercy of criminals |

I've always wanted to ask if no alcohol @ all poses any problem to the body. Because I haven't had anything alcohol for almost 4years now |
Yes I believe their action was uncalled for and maybe driven by selfish interest. But this hating because a region wants to break out is totally uncalled for. Before you start asking for their head remember Biafra isn't alone in this sruggle for independence, Scotland is, Catalonia too even after the Spanish civil war, same as Nigeria's. Surely they'll get their wish maybe in a very long time no one knows. But before then, they remain a part of the unfruitful union and also have a say as to what how they want it to go. |
apcmustwin:I don't want to call you an idiot, but sorry I think you're one. You rain curse (even though it worthless) on a whole tribe just because of insignificant number of them on a selfish mission, I weep at ur sense of judgement. I guess you're from the northern region (nyamiri you used), if so am not surprised because that region isn't mentally developed enough to be classified homo sapiens. This same region that has been a torn in the flesh of the country, draging the country backwards and giving it all negative image globally. Mr man go get busy |
Will endure the pains till she finishes the call (might cause some complications if I try removing it myself). But as soon as she removes it, no fewer than 5 matured slaps will cover every corner of her face. |
Philadelphia:Thanks for the info. Didn't know |

hensben:Pls could you mention one of the things either Yoruba or Hausa has worked to perfection in this country. |
ChristyG:Igbos have always been at the receiving end because majority of the strangers happen to be Igbo. Let's not go far from the topic. If Dstv's reason for not having Igbo station is because they think its not marketable, then they tell themselve lies. The entertainment industry got to this height because of the aggressive marketing done by mainly the Igbo marketers in Lagos and Onitsha. |
QueenColeen:So nice hearing this from an open minded nice lady like you. Nigeria would ve a very great country but for the hate. History has it that Hausa and Igbo had the best relationship (even in governance) not until the Akintola faction caused a problem btw both tribes. The Igbos planned a coup to salvage the western region which was in chaos then but got into more trouble with the north as the Yorubas too denied them. An average hausa doesn't hate an Igbo man. Yoruba's do |
Its obvious this country is made up of 3 competing tribes with each trying to play down the importance and contributions of the other. The yoruba's hatred consequent of their fear of the Igbo dominance cannot be denied. The best movies in Nigeria were produced by Igbos, then why the thinking that they've got nothing to air if given a station? Its a shame that while the SE and SS keeps the economy of Nigeria floating, the others always want to downplay their importance. Hausa and Yoruba have collaborated to make the Igbo irrelevant in politics (politics being a game of number, not necessarily creativity or intellect), but still find them as treat. I weep for this divided country |
