Predator87: We have not qualified for the U23 Olympics in 10 years, and our U17 has not qualified for an U17 world cup since 2019. Keep in mind we are the most successful African team in those competitions. I an done making excuses. The cause of our failures are the current NFF led by Ibrahim Gausau. Let's tell our self the truth please. NFF are bad but not qualifying for the U17 since 2019 is due to nonsense CAF zoning... Might not be solely on them but it's one of it... We know how good the WAFU B are when it comes to the age grade tournament, but now no matter how good Nigeria, Ivory coast, Ghana are in an men age grade - the 3 can't be in the same tournament. |

He waited in vain for a call up to SE then All we needed to do was to cap tie him.
Saka and Oliseh were nobody as at the time we talked about then here.
NFF no approach them at the appropriate time. Perhaps, they couldn't identify their talent. Sorry to ask Sir, Are you close to any of the player to so that "NFF no approach them" or you got an exclusive gist about that |

COOL10: Nigerians are cursed. Seriously cursed with the spirit of self sabotage.
The same so called O.A.Ps, fake sports journalists and ex internationals that asked for the sack of Gernot Rohr few weeks to an AFCON and for Peseiro to be let go despite taking us to an AFCON final are now asking for Eric Chelle to be let go because according to them, his "demands" are too much (Same thing they said about Peseiro).
Ask them for a possible replacement and you'll hear them bring up local coaches. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
How did I find myself in the same country as these self harming idiots? We're not ready for any form of progress in this country. At this rate, our football will continue to be like our epileptic power supply. Tueh 🤮 If you're taking the QUADRI on x serious, you are on a long thing. Mujtahida: I've seen torrent of condemnation poured on Morocco in the wake of the AFCON final.
Many of these criticisms are justified but like I say, when we condemn the bad conduct of a man, let us also remember his good side.
Many people attack Morocco saying that they don't see themselves as Africans yet this same Morocco with all the huge financial outlay it requires, has come to bail out CAF several times offering to host CAF events and tournaments when other African countries hide in the shadows like cowards.
See our Nigeria cannot even bid not to talk of hosting youth tournaments.
Morocco gave us the most spectacular Afcon tournament yet. We thank them. But they should note that hosting does not mean you must win. It was that desperation egged on by a sheepish CAF that led to the event of last Sunday, which almost ruined an otherwise colorful and delicious footballing event.
Truly in Afcon, we play different. This tournament is somehow beginning to have more jazz than other footballing events - it offers you color, vibe, drama, conflict, high, low. It's epic. It's African footballing cinema for global viewership.
I've watched a couple of Afcons. Afcon wasn't like this before. Something happened in 2023. Afcon feels different now. The quality of the football is of a high caliber. Even teams of low pedigree display tactical acumen and tenacity. African football is growing.
Afcon is ours. Let us enjoy it. Let us protect it. How I wish I can like it more than once! How I wish Sir Motsepe can see the last line and reverse our darling Afcon back to biennial competition |
